Ok. The game crashes every time I try to go to North Aven. I don't understand. The loading bar gets to about 95% and then crashes. If I try to fast travel or walk there from South Aven, the game crashes every time.

that happened to me too!! abandon some side quests then go to north aven, it worked for me. anyone knows where to find UI 'Thok in the portal?
You just got spammed foo, seriously though it sounds like junk mail to me, no offensive josh I don't mean the game is junk, it's awesome, so will there be any new quests in the upcomming update?
so i guess im late to the party but i been real busy and now finally got a chance to sit down with this baby.... Im finding that its crashing when trying to load a game from cloud the was started on my ipad2 and now trying to be opened on my iphone5.....crash crash crash it was getting bad....im starting a new game and will try to open it on my ipad2....so is this normal as far a this threadwise? Im also not liking how far up the two main buttons are in the game...mainly because under them im unable to look around or change my view.....why? other than that the game looks awesome (aside from the hair in character custom! lol) and cant wait to dig deeper...
Oh and can I delete my save file, I want to try a new charictor style... And don't like to have more than one active...
There's a known defect with that. If you've started the Lady Karin side quest (something about a thief upstairs), abandon it. You'll be able to restart it after. Or maybe it's a different quest. Someone else will hopefully know. I know some people are unhappy because the game has a few issues or doesn't have 40 hours of gameplay, but I think the game is just fine as it is. Of course the bugs ought to get fixed, but you can't expect a company like CM Games to have all the bugs squashed before release. Nothing against them, it's just that they're too small and probably don't have the budget. Those who are saying that there isn't enough gameplay, and that a game that costs $6.99 should provide more playing time, need to realize the difference that there is between creating a physics puzzler that has 40 hours of gameplay and an open world 3d rpg that has the same. I'll let you guess which is harder. I'm very happy with the game. But I didn't download it thinking I'd get 40 hours of bug-free gameplay with Skyrim graphics for $6.99. If you did, then you need to lower your expectations for this platform.
Yeah I'm loving it, and i don't care if it's 10 hours. The problem is that the fans have built up the hype expecting a full blown console/pc game. Josh and his team should be proud of what they have created and the future is looking good for ios rpg games.
That is just what I thought, I have I've 15 hours invested and just got to the mining facility... Loved the fact u brought back the goblin the dances tho... Where's aralons little quirky thing, what will be in number 2 that will make us go ohhhhh that's like it was in the first one... Also, josh u hinted at more quests coming, will there be any in the next update, u should have a contest, have people write down there quest lines and the best get featured in te game
Thanks! I can get into North Aven now. I abandoned the "Competition" sidequest. It was a quest for the House Carrowen*. I'm guessing the defect may have occurred because I've already joined and completed the Pellom House quests. Anyhow, thanks again everyone!
Anyone else's controls just not work in combat? It's so f*****g annoying. The sticks and buttons move but nothing at all happens.
Nah its some kind of code conflict or something simillar, the line of programming is actually displayed in the quest section somewhere if you look carefully, instead of the text that should be showing. But the mission is workable like this... buy a bow and take it to the north city with you, accept quest and go streight to archery range without going out of north aven then the game actually doesnt crash at all and that quest can be completed with absolutely no bugs or problems if you do it like that
