I'm not sure what you mean by hit 'quick'. Selecting an inventory item, then closing screen to get to hot bar to tap a slot isn't working. I'll keep reading forum to see if anyone else explained this.
which device are you on? Sorry you are having the trouble - we'd like to help out and figure out what's going on there
Does anyone out there plays the game on a "normal" IPhone 4 and can tell me how it runs and looks like? What will i lack? Pretty please tell me!!! I really want this game but don't want it to be unplayable. I'm thinking of Horn™ at it.
Yep, this happened to me too. Really hope this one gets fixed, because it's frustrating not being able to select inventory stuff. There is a temporary fix though. 1- It seems related to how much stuff you have in your inventory. I dropped some useless stuff, and then it started to separate properly again. 2- Drop everything in your inventory (don't worry, it stays on the ground so you can retrieve it), then close the inventory, and reopen it empty. Now close it again, and retrieve everything on the ground. Should reset it, for a little while anyway. It's a real PITA though, so I hope this is solved soon. Also, could someone please kindly explain how we pickpocket people. I asked previously in this thread, and my question got skipped over. I contacted the developer, but no response. This one is really annoying me. I keep hearing that we can pickpocket people, but absolutely no one has seemingly discovered how. If any Ravensword devs are reading this, please explain.
Stealth I just thought I'd share this for anyone out there wondering about the stealth skill in Ravensword 2. When you start out with stealth, let's all be honest, it sucks. You can't do anything with it. That being said, once you level it up, it is incredible. Notice how every time you use your weapon, it begins to "level" up. You can level up you sword skills, bow skills, axe skills, etc. Leveling up stealth is easy. Just practice sneaking up on stuff. The more often you go into stealth, the more it'll level up. You can actually farm stealth experience by going into a house, and hiding from whoever's in there. If you get close enough, your stealth skill will start increasing. Pretty cool. Other way to farm stealth is just turn it on/off repeatedly. Every third or fourth time, your stealth will increase a level. Just use it often, even thought it sucks at first, because eventually your efforts will be rewarded. I am now at stealth lvl. 95, and it's amazing. I still can't sneak close enough to get a melee hit, but I can destroy guys with my crossbow. Tip: enhance the talent that gives you extra damage when in stealth. I'm at 40% extra damage, and it's amazing. Combined with the base stealth bonus, I get a 140% damage hit when in stealth. I can usually knock a baddies health down by half on the first hit. So, to anyone asking if stealth/ranged is a viable class in this game, answer is yes. With the crossbow at just lvl. 60, and my stealth at 95, I feel almost OP compared to the other choices in the game. It's a sick combo for sniping them retarded ice giants and carnosaurs. Also, on sniping - It's pretty easy to climb up on the "scenery" in this game. if you repeatedly tap jump, you can scale a vertical rock face. Once up there, you can go into stealth, and nail your foes. Another tip - grind often. I personally think it's best to level up all your weapons. I'm still working on axe and blunt, but my sword, bow, crossbow, and that super-cool-gun-thingy are all very well leveled. This gives me a huge diversity advantage in combat. Hope this helps somebody.
Thanks for the tip on Abandoning the archery contest, it worked and I'm able to continue with the game. To pickpocket-- you have to go into stealth mode behind someone, then cursor over the person til you see a red hand to steal. Save first, cuz you can get caught!
I just tried pickpocketing just now for the first time. Just go into stealth mode and sneak behind someone, and a red hand icon will display allowing you to steal whatever they are carrying.
Head East in Town, go outside head straight and and to the left, you will have to jump over a bridge, keep following that down until you hit the cave.
Save games Sooo, anyone tried creating two different game saves yet? Can this be done? I always like to play one game as a "good guy", and another as an outlaw, stealing and killing as I go. Can we do multiple games/characters on one device? How so, if indeed it can be done?
Spoiler Mmmmm I knew there was something about that statue when I saw it, ravensword is really good haha
I still find this part to be really annoying and I cannot get past it. On the thieves quest as soon as you go underground you are faced with 3 mobs. One archer and 2 melee. Whenever I start off killing one I get one hit off and them my character just freezes. He wont attack and he wont even use the magic rune. Any thoughts? I am not sure if its because Im getting stunned or what but it seems too much of an issue for it to be that my character is stunned.
To get melee stealth kills, it really helps to level the stalk talent. I put three points into mine, and it makes a big difference. Stealth damage combined with the strength rune (first one you get) is a monster. I'm just kinda sad that magic can't get stealth damage.
iPhone 5. I had completed the quest where you grow the guy in the bottle. Fast traveled back to city. Was walking around, decided to save, saved. Any further saves no matter what I do from that point on don't save. Tried restarting the phone, going to an older save and trying to save in an entirely different area. Nothing works. Save slot 1 (Character 1) is just hosed. Given the fact that I wasn't very thrilled with the gameplay itself, and I can't be sure that the bug won't happen again on a new game; I'm not happy. $7 is a lot of money for an app store app. For that money I could have purchased 7 other AAA titles currently on sale.
Wow, te developers are just simply amaizing, hey are so involved in this thread, I loved aralon, but this game is amaizing, feels more like a mix of oblivion and untold legends than skyrim. Just the develoupers being so involved have convinced me to buy any thing that has crescent moon games slapped on it. As a hard core rpger (I played through arena and daggerfall) I love this game, but will be glad when aralon 2 is out so I can get a more in depth rpg with crafting and classes, controlled arnt an issue on the iPhone 4 and it runs supprisingly well. I bought this game on day one, even though my iPhone wasn't in yet. Expect my insta buy and support on your upcoming RPGs keep it up ur awsome
Well if you need to get a refund - here is the link: http://www.iphonefaq.org/archives/971538 Sorry you didn't have fun with it. We're working on updates for various things (and some surprises), hopefully after the shut down they will get approved quickly
