How do I get there?!? I don't had North Aven unlocked yet, and I can't figure out how to travel there from the Eastern Forest or the Avenshire hills. Also, what is the best place to grind enemies for money?
You shouldn't need to unlock anything. Just go through the large gate to the north of the starting area in South Aven.
As early into the game as you are - goblins by the troll cave. Once you level up quite a bit or feel comfident, take the White Hand quest from the girl you talked to when you woke up in south Aven. The thieves den is an excellent grind point for cash. Edit: if the map that you can access from the menu is the entire game world, then it's a lot smaller than Aralon, if I remember correctly. I hope this isn't the case...I'm beginning to get the feeling that the game's rather short. Hope I'm dead wrong. Edit 2: Josh, found a spot where I can jump right off of the map, might want to look into this. It's right around the wrecked ship with those crabs.
Am i missing something? First quest... I need to find the guy in the woods (in the house). I get a quest to go to the Troll/Orc Caves. I arrive at the gates, try to sneak around and kill a few at the entrance but never manage to get close enough in sneak mode. Fair enough... I try taking a side-approach and drawing one out. I hack and slash away but I end up getting slaughtered by the pack. The starting sword is all I have, and there's no other approach to the entrance. What am I missing??
Just wanted to mention a few bugs Recently encountered. The game crashed while saving though I was able to save And the game crashed when a low battery indicator popped up. I'm enjoying the game I just hope that these issues can be resolved Eventually.
This is quite a common one, though an equally as easy remedy. There are some goblins and a ruin very near the cave. Level up a few times on them and sell their loot to buy new gear. It shouldn't take long at all.
Any chance of a fix tomorrow before everything closes? I can't get back to the northern part of the city either....I'm still exploring and farming gold while I can't but I really need to get there.
Doubt it...but then again big companies can usually get a speedy review, and seeing as how this was a featured game... Can any of the devs chime in? Any chance of a camera, shadow and crash fix before the lockdown? I'm not personally holding my breath, but still it would be nice.
I think that's where I got stuck... lol. 3 goblins charged me and put me out of my misery at the ruins
Expedited reviews make this not an unrealistic possibility, in the general sence. Im sure it goes like this, every developer can expedite an update for a day or two release once, even small unknown companies have the option... But once that is used up its hard, if not impossible to do one a second time for an app so an expedited review has to be chosen extremely carefully.
Lockdown is tomorrow, we already have had an update waiting for review (was submitted before the game actually came out), but it hasn't gone into review yet. On the waiting on looting of bodies, its a ragdoll thing. We have the ragdoll timer set so the body has time to settle (like if its rolling down a hill) otherwise you'll get bodies floating mid air sometimes, and that is worse than waiting another second to loot the corpse IMO.
Mmmm. Yeah. I did have one time when playing the game that a body rolled down a hill but I could still loot it near where it died, but that was an exception to everything else I have killed. Making it shorter would be hilarious but not a good idea
Haven't read much of this thread since launch cause I worry about spoilers. Can someone tell me how sneak attack works? Can I sneak attack with a bow as long as I am sneaking? Or I have to manage to get to them while sneaking with a meter weapon?? I'm talking about the silent hunter stealth talent. Never mind, the answer is YES the silent hunter talent works with a bow.
Could you guys consider making it possible to look around using the bottom right hand side instead of only the upper right hand side? It would make things much easier. On a side note, is if possible to ADS with a crossbow? I think one of the screenshots showed the character ADSing with a weapon that looked like a crossbow.
Well then, it's beyond your control, and I must say the customer service/support has been superb hopefully it comes out and I get those shadows for Christmas fingers crossed. I don't remember if Skyrim had a waiting time for looting, but IMO it's fine. The ragdoll, btw, is a really slick addition and adds a lot of randomness to the combat. The knocking down feature was also a really nice touch. Once again congrats and thanks for this great game
This would be cool, i feel even the space and the button positions lends itself to this. When i play on the ipad I usually grab it by the inferior corners like a controller, having the ability to customize the layout would be cool too.
