Once you have the key, you just walk up to the huge gate/door (real close) and touch the door. No symbol appears like normal doors, but if you tap on it in the same way, it should open right up.

I thought Gulch was pretty dumb. Just a normal ice giant with a different name. And there's this staircase in the room - just stand on it and peg away at him with a crossbow. :D

Tip for people having trouble with the controls. In the options menus you can adjust sensitivity. It makes it a lot easier to look around quickly and makes the movement feel less sluggish.

I also found the best way to move around outside of combat is to double tap to start running and then just adjust your direction. It's a lot easier and faster than the virtual stick most of the time.

Lol, just started. Although the controls are a little bit tricky (ex. Can't turn camera with lower-right corner), gameplay is amazing.

Btw, how do i get a mount??

You buy them. There's a guy who sells horses north of Aven for like 1500-2500.

The farm in the field north of Avalon, it's quite close.

No point putting this in spoiler tag for those who may ask as it's been revealed already :)

Look for the sheep and trade with the farmer there.

So I killed the Giant Yeti just for a horn? Damn.
BTW, I think that the character should move his arms while aiming, just like in every TPS.

So uh I just started. Are sneak+bow characters an option? I realize the leveling is like Skyrim meaning it can be easy to spread yourself too thin. I tried sneaking but it just seams so easy to get detected. Is sneaking viable?

    How do you pickpocket?

Where can I find a bow at the beginning of the game? All bows are crazy expensive for beginners. I'm going to overtrain my sword skill.

Can you kill friendly NPCs and take their stuff like in Aralon?

    How's the magic?

If anyone could answer these it would be fantastic. Thanks in advance TA bros :)

Lol I don't know if you're trying to troll me or what; I'm just as reputable as the next guy on these forums, made both friends and enemies here just like everyone else.

Southern area? Yeah I've been there don't really remember a castle though. I'll go check it out.

Heh that's not what i meant.. I think Your the one who is really active here. Dat's all.
Yes, the area is called " The terraces". When U find a small cabin there You will find a guy who will give You a quest in which You have to rescue a princess ( sth like dat ) in the nearby castle. He will give U a key to open door to the cellar/ basement behind the castle. But it's possible to go through the walls of the casle. ( and later tha cabin of the man ) that is the bug...

Yep you can go through the castle walls...lmao the NPCs are just standing there.

The actual door is "sealed" for me, though. Guess I have to get a key or go there for a quest.

Guys - please avoid the House Carowen and Lady Katrin side quests for now until we figure out the North Aven bug. They seem to be the cause.

That's the bug. Even if u get the key to the cellar which leads to the castle, You can still jump through the walls ( left side i guess ) you can also get though the walls of the small cabin ( where You find the guy who gives You the quest. )

Kudos to the devs for being right on this.

The game plays well and I've yet to experience any problems in three hours so far.

Any bugs that do turn up will be quickly quashed imo. CM didn't spend three years on this for nothing. I'm sure we will get regular updates.

Is that a joke or is it for real? I didn't talk with anyone besides the guys of the main quests, and somehow now I'm in the area where you meet that enemy and some tigers, and I have looooooooooooow stats. The crossbow was the key for that battle, just saying.

    1) Yes...but the game is more focused on the marriage of sword and ranged attacks. It's certainly viable.

2)I haven't tried that yet...last time I did a lawless deed (picked a house lock) I ended up in jail with a decreased reputation

    3) Hmmm...I seem to remember earning a crossbow in a fairly early quest. I would suggest just buying one

    4) I don't think so, maybe Josh can chime in

    5) Not overpowered, certainly not useless. I like it.

    ----------

Josh, it would be nice to be able to scroll/have more slots for the quick access bar thing. I'm to lazy to go into my inventory
