I actually do find the amounts my character eats quite absurd. I killed all those boars early on and each gave me 2 pounds of pork and he then went to eat one of those pork blobs every minute or something like that. :)

Hi Josh, will there be christmas or new year discount? Or the current price is for such occasion and will be higher sometime next year?

Congrats on the release. Great game by the look of it.

Played for a few hours and here are my highlights/lowlights:

+ Amazing scope for a mobile game. The world seems large and pretty fleshed out with lots to explore. This is console quality, and looks to pack a really deep and immersive experience.
+ Love that it's not a complete mindless hack and slash. Stamina plays a big part and your character can get exhausted by swinging mindlessly over time
+ The game seems pretty well balanced overall - good deal of exploration as well as action mixed in
+ Good variety in weapons and armor that allow you to play the game the way you want to and not pigeon hole you into a specific play method.

    - Controls - already somewhat addressed, but things are too widespread, especially for iPad users. More freedom in where you can swipe to look would help immensely as well as remapping of some of the context buttons (talk, pickup, etc)
    - shield blocking and sword sheathing is cumbersome - as mentioned, it would be nice to be able to block independently with another button and sheath/unsheath at will.
    - Waypoints toggle (?) - it's a large world which is good, but it would be nice to have some sense of where to go and not be stuck trying to remember if I needed to go east, west or some other general direction

On the whole, very impressive for an open world game with amazing content and experience for such a low price. It has it's flaws and some of the design choices are questionable, but the pros far outweigh the cons. If you are a fan of action RPG's, this is an experience that shouldn't be missed. I think with more user feedback, this game can be tweaked to account for some of the issues.

    My 2 cents...

Why the horse doesn't have saddle? You buy one from somewhere?
The game is great so far...!!! I agree with a lot of negative comments but is awesome that you can play a game like this in your idevice and of course in such a low price! Hope make good sales so CM continue to bring us quality games like this!

I agree with the rest about not being able to control the camera at the bottom right of the screen. How this got past testing is beyond me, I mean look how many people mentioned it as a problem. Being able to move and resize buttons would help a lot. The UI for items seems to take more effort than it should. Looting is horrible on the Ipad, can you make a button or something, I hate having to reach all the way to the middle of the screen. The graphics are amazing even without the real time shadows. The animations are a bit clunky and I am not sure on the combat but I am still enjoying it.

Main problem I had was I played it on my Ipad then tried on my Ip5 and my save wasn't there.

Edit: Also want to add that I just noticed that on Ip5 I do have the realtime shadows but I don't think I had them last night on my Ipad 4 like some others have been reporting.

Josh - Are there any plans to implement a setting that allows you to turn off the slowed combat effect? I think its a cool idea but it does get a little tiresome after a while especially when it does it 3-4 times in a row.

And what negative effects happen to your character if you don't eat?

Ok, we could probably tone that down a bit.
If you don't eat and starve, then you don't regenerate health.

Can you hit someone with a ranged shot while sneaking? Also do you get any type of bonus dmg by doing that?

Sounds great! Loving the game by the way. I am a huge elder scolls fan and this just feels right at home. As I said earlier, I think the effect is cool but I think it would benefit more from being similar to a kill cam when the mob is struck with the killing blow. Other than that wonderful job guys!

Not sure about a bonus, but yes, you can hit enemies with a ranged shot while sneaking. As soon as you hit them though, you come out of stealth and are visible.

Alright, I suck. Where can I find the Archmage tower? Is it South or still in the East woods? I wish the quest logs would at least give me a sense as to which way to go. It's probably blatantly obvious, but I'm not seeing it.

Have you checked both of your devices to make sure the game is listed on iCloud?

Tap on Settings / iCloud / Storage & Backup / Manage Storage, and the game should be listed under Documents & Data.

I'm only playing on the iPad but when I check on my 3GS the save files are displaying there on iCloud.

Its in the north of aven, a giant tower that breaks the skyline. You should be able to see it if you just keep running north in North Aven.

Yeah it is in there on both and Icloud is working no problem in other games, not sure what it is. Also logged in to GC on both, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Thanks, much appreciated. Lamil probably told me where to go, but I must have missed it.

I have to say as far as controls, this game plays way better on iPhone than it does on iPad. Hopefully we can get a customize interface option in the future with the ability to look with the bottom right of the screen.

I really like the way the character has to unsheath the sword, makes it feel more realistic.

this game is unlike most RPGs where yes, ranged combat actually works well. I've been waiting for an RPG for a VERY long time (YEARS!) where I can shoot something move closer, unsheath a sword and slice up for the final kill.

Blunderbusses are really good against mobs that are stronger, the range is short but the utility is spot on. Sometimes I will mix up a bow/crossbow and blunderbuss in one fight because of each others benefit.

Lock picking mini games are quite fun, I wonder what happens when all the locks are picked and there is nothing new to unlock, boohoo.

Some areas are perfect for semi secret bosses in an update. Adding a few super strong opponents for a post game would certainly benefit the longevity, of course there might already be post game bosses I don't know yet. Even if there are though, hide some away in the earlier zones too, for example in the icy zone there could be stalagmites covering up a passage that only melt enough after we defeat what ever the final boss is.

I am unsure of how to pickpocket though, I assume it unlocks after using the stealth skill and upping the general level of skills in that part. But a quick mention might be nice, maybe not but just a thought.

Food for me is a really interesting concept actually, but there was one point early on when my health was generating slowly and I thought oh deah... It does add a little more depth to the game though and I keep stocked up now.

Well I'm sure there's more later, but those are my newest impressions :)
