You obviously haven't played fallout. The bugs in that make the game better in some ways and give it some personality. I strongly doubt that'll be the same here but not all bugs =\= bad
How far is it from the initial village you start the game in? Can I get a horse within that same village? Or do I need to explore the game world on foot at first?
Hey guys, Thanks for all of the comments and feedback. We're going to go through everything, and during the Holiday shut down, fix as many thing as we can. Basically after tomorrow, updates won't get approved until the 29th because of the shut down. We already do have a minor bugfix update waiting to be reviewed, but we'll likely pull it in order to fix some more stuff. The constructive criticism has been fantastic, there are definitely things we can do to improve the game. Thanks for the support! -Josh
The horse is in the meadow. Talk to Hans at the Farm House. Its just north of the Northern City, Aven - beyond the Archmage's Tower.
Anyone know what iCloud support this has? The game description states it exists but I can't figure out how to synch games between my devices - any ideas?
Game Impressions Impressive graphically, but playability is questionable. I see the developers are checking this thread so here are my impessions. First of all it seems nobody cares about us, iPad players. For me iPhone screen is too small, so I'd rather play on iPad. But it is not an easy task, all controls are scattered across the screen, plus the look controls are somewhere in the middle at the left. I don't know, maybe controls are ok on iPad mini, but it's a pain in the ass to play on the iPad. Why not put them a little bit closer? When you're talking to NPC you have to tap the bottom left corner and then the upper left. If I had three hands it would be ok, but with only two it is simply not fun. The guy is constantly eating food. Why he needs food anyway? The blade takes so long to be drawn so it gets really annoying quite fast. I don't think the game would be any worse if he could either swing it right away or would hold it in his hand at all times. Looting. To loot the body you have to stand at the exact distance of 200 pixels and not a pixel closer. And pinpoint the right angle. After that you have to reach the middle of the screen (that means letting one hand go of the iPad) to loot. After 20 bodies you would think twice if it worth bothering with looting at all. Plus it takes time for loot to appear and it seem to be always the same. Why not have an action button near the right thumb so you could [Loot] [Look] [Talk] [Open] right away? Have you seen Zelda? NPC are without names, you have to talk to them to see who they are. Inventory is inconvenient. No auto-targeting for magic. I really hope you can improve the controls in this otherwise great game. And that monsters are not automatically level up ahead of me, since that was the reason I have stopped playing Ravensword 1 (or was is Aralon?).
A great big thank you to the dev studio, this game is amazing! It feels like skyrim meets kingdoms of amalur Keep up the amazing work
Why can't is it so absurd that the character eats even when not injured? Certainly makes things more realistic.
Loving this game, I went to sleep way later than normal getting in some playing time. Thank you for making this awesome game, Josh big ups to you and the team!
Cheers, Josh! Had a quick go at the game so far, but initial impressions are jaw dropping. The only critique I have has already been mentioned by several other players: the ability to customize controls. If only for the "look" area that is indeed up too high. Especially when playing on an iPad. It's not a huge deal breaker though, and the game is too good to stop playing until the next update. Good luck (and to your team) on creating your first update!
After the side mission with the Thieves that you have to kill underground. I cant fast travel or go through the gates to north Aven! My game crashes everytime i try to get into north Aven. I can go anywhere else but at north Aven it crashes. I play on 4s 5.1, please fix it. Game is awsome btw, really get that skyrim vibe.
Hey guys: I'll be doing very little moderation on this thread: I did some preliminary work on the game and I am certainly not unbiased (I also happen to think that Josh is a really cool guy ). I expect that other moderators will pick up the slack and prevent this thread from becoming a free-for-all. I'll say one thing in the spirit of civil discussion: a game of this size and scope will always have supporters and detractors. Some of you will love the game, others will hate it. And that's alright. Where we get into trouble is when we assume that those who disagree with us are either deluded or dishonest. If you disagree with someone's opinion, it's much better to focus on the opinion (why you disagree with it) than questioning the motivation of the person who delivered it. I should also say that there comes a point where some people just get repetitive and contribute nothing to the discussion -- they seem to believe that if they deliver their vitriolic point over and over again that others will "wake up" and come to agree with their position on the game. It's frankly annoying and pointless. There comes a time when people should simply move on -- there are many other games in the App Store.
thanks for reporting that, we've had two other people experience this and are trying to track it down. Just to let you all know, in the next big update we're going to have updates to the controls and customize-able button positions - on top of other fixes

My impressions I got this game earlier on and it runs smoothly on my ipad2. I couldn't ask for more graphically on my device. I like what I see. However, the combat controls are so dreary. Blocking is almost impossible considering the fact that you have to keep your hand on the attack button for a second or two. I haven't got magic or a ranged weapon yet but so far combat is almost impossible. the controls may be fine for an iphone, but they're a pain on the ipad especially when u have to talk to people or pick up loot. Again, I had a problem with that tight rope mission because the camera was glued to my characters back- this also makes rolling weird. I had to slide the difficulty bar way lower (I'm not ashamed to mention this. Lol) to be able to fight. Please give us a block button. I like the idea of a stamina bar and all but what is the use of blocking if there is a delay before it happens?for now that's all I ask for, I could live with that. Don't get me wrong this game has plenty of promise, worth the money but I just get frustrated when it feels like I have to be a fortune teller to be able to block. Great game though.
