How does this game run on the iPad mini with the latest patch? Seen some reviews lately that mention crashes and stuff.
Disregard my previous post, I now have the Mini 2 (or Retina?) which uses the same architecture as the iPad Air I believe. Before purchase I wanted to know if it runs fine without crashing, as several reviewers mentioned it did. A lot of the time this turns out to not be the case, but I know some of you have the game who are using airs or mini retinas. I'd rather not throw $7 at an app that doesn't work. I would greatly appreciate any feedback!
The game crashes on my Air with the latest firmware under the hood. Hopefully, this will be updated soon.
Update was released but just like Aralon, Crescent Moon Games completely skipped ios7 support and went straight to ios8 for minimal requirements. So if you don't have ios8 installed you won't even see the update.
Sharing the same thoughts A few posts above somebody mentioned no extended controller,that would be a real bummer and i wouldn't buy it in this case.
okay,only standard cntroller,so i have no control over the camera with the right stick.I'll have to pass unfortunately.
I just wanted to say this is a SPECTACULAR game for iOS! One of the best games of its kind in the AppStore! Very Satisfied!!
@josh: is it possible to implement extended controller support? When my Madcatz Micro controller is connected Ravensword Shadowlands just crashes on startup.
Anything? Would love to play this with a madcatz controller. I imagine it wouldnt be too difficult since it uses the framework that's also used in Exiles so migrating the code from there might only need a few tweaks. Thanks!

Enjoy! I really loved this one. Spent a lot of time exploring and hunting. And I ended up enjoying it so much, I bought the soundtrack too. Still one of the best Western RPGs on the iOS App Store and the Mac App Store. If you do end up enjoying its exploration, after you finish, I'd recommend checking out Nimian Legends BrightRidge HD if it's out by then.

Just started playing this again on my new iPad Pro with a version of iOS 9 and there is no music and limited SFX. Same thing happened to DoubleFine's games. Anyone else experience this? I loved this game's soundtrack so much that I don't know if I can play it anymore without it.
Yep same here. I also have an iPad Pro and using iOS 9.3.3. It seems to be a more common problem than not with older games. Updates with iOS must affect audio and the devs either are unwilling or unable to devote resources in fixing the problem.
