Since I couldnt download the app from my phone since I dont have ios 7 I purchased it from the computer and then from there the phone now gave me an option to have the last compatible version installed instead.
Just tried opening up my game on my iPhone 5, running up to date with iOS 7 and all that, but unfortunately the game crashes as soon as I select "Continue" or try to load any of my saves. Hope this gets fixed soon. Don't get me wrong, it looks great on my iPad, but I'd sure like like to play on something a tad lighter in the hands.
Grabbing this now, and since I'll be stuck with iOS 7 on the new device I'm getting anyway, I might as well enjoy it.
It's awesome. It cant get any simpler than that because this game just is. Buckholes assemboooooooooooooowl!
This is why I hate ios 7. No other apps running. One note being played. 57% CPU usage. Some of us do more than game. Ios 7 has ruined my device.
I'm having the same issue. The description said it wouldn't run on 3GS and older, so it seems like they would have tested for iPhone 4. Hopefully the dev sees this issue and addresses this, I was really looking forward to playing this game. :/
yep, I just upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS7 and it has the issue. We're looking into it and hopefully will have a fix submitted by tomorrow at some point.
You have to admit, in the midst of a bunch of folks crapping on those of us who haven't upgraded, this is a pretty funny post... DBC
So on a few recommendations I went and pulled the trigger and wow, I am impressed. I have put a few hours in and the best way to describe this is Skyrim on iOS. Considering I played the ever loving hell out of the Elder Scrolls games, this is a phenomal value for a mere 99c
I thought this was the case as well. For example, even though it didn't end up working past a certain point, Dead Trigger 2 prompted me to download the last compatible version. I don't understand why it works for some apps and not others. Just tried with this and got the must upgrade to iOS 7 message as well. And to be a Devil's Advocate, what Appletini mentioned earlier about 2/3 of devices having been upgraded, I'd really wish there was a stat that could show us how many hard core gamers have upgraded. I'd still be willing to bet the number is significantly lower with many worried about possibly having issues with older games. Knowing there are compatibility issues with some previous games and not really digging what I've heard about iOS 7, I intend to continue to hold out until there's a really, really good game that I must have (or the overwhelming number of new apps start requiring it). On topic, I've got this on my Nexus 7 and certainly would recommend it for anyone looking for as close as you can get to an Oblivion-like RPG on mobile.
I believe it needs to be free or already purchased. Basically they won't let you pay for an app on a device that can't download the current version. So if it's a paid app and you didn't already buy it, you would have to pay another way like iTunes on your computer (or maybe gifting yourself would work) and then try to download to the device.
Interesting theory about using iTunes. Might have to try buying a game for iOS 7 that l really want and see if that's a work around.
Hahahahah. On topic: I bought this for full price on Android but I bought it again for iOS because it lagged like hell on my N4. Knowing iOS, it should be much smoother and actually be playable.
It ran fine until this new update. I can't even run it on my ipad 2 without it freezing or crashing. Especially if you enter a new realm, I just get a black screen of death and have to restart my ipad.
