Woohoo for random forum games, eh?!? Okay, goals simple, post an accurate, and interesting tidbit of random knowledge that you know! Because, you know, knowledge is power! This being random knowledge, means its random power! It's like power, without the constant responsibility! Anyways, I'll start... Dogs don't actually see in black and white. They just can't see every color we can. They do however see things quicker than we do (which is why they're rather badass at catching things).

In perfect conditions, shooting a gun parallel to the ground and dropping an identical bullet will result in them both hitting the ground at the same time.
As someone who works with silver, please don't do this! It scratches it to hell and back! My cool knowledge thing is that Michael Jackson was supposed to be in a meeting in one of the Twin Towers on the morning of 9/11, but missed it from oversleeping! So if you think about it, we had MJ for a good 8 years longer than we were meant to.
Internet Addiction is not considered a legit disorder by the DSM (Diagnostic Statistic Manual), which lists all the psychological disorders and problems known to mankind.
Haha, that's too awesome! XD Silly Putty was a byproduct of attempts to develop a substance to stop tank movement. (Jam the treads)
Men actually age slower than women, but die sooner because of testosterone- it's hard on the body, especially the heart. Some animals are basically immortal, as they don't age after their development stage- though they can die of disease or by being eaten. The reason for this is that these animals have telomerase (an enzyme at the end of your DNA) that doesn't ever deplete. Humans age after development because the telomerase in our DNA depletes, leading to degradation of DNA during replication. So when you're 90, your DNA is a crappy glitched out copy of your DNA from when you were young. The first computer device is over 2,000 years old, and was used to determine the positions of celestial bodies. It was found in ancient Greece. Battery-like devices have been found in Iraq and are around 2,000 years old. There is much debate as to whether they actually are batteries, and if they are, what their purpose is. Despite popular belief, the pyramids did not look like they do now except smoother during Egyptian times. They were actually plated with polished stone and had gold plating on top. Statues and architecture from ancient Greek civilization was not white in ancient times. They were actually quite colorful, and had very bright, vibrant paint on them. As the years past, the paint faded and came off. I've got a lot more, but probably already said too much.
That is actually incorrect. While elephants cannot jump, they are not the only mammal that is unable to. Sloths, Rhinos, and Hippos are all unable to jump as well.
Actually its not the toothpaste that scratches the silver..its the over rubbing...even with commercial jewelry polish is more abrasive/ toxic then most flouride toothpastes..do not use the whitening toothpastes(extremely abrasive..you can scratch the silver.even ultrasonic cleaners can damage any jewelry..its all in how you use it.. i have even used rubbing compound and a dremel tool for fine detailed cleaning. there are so many silver alloy mixes. toothpaste is mainly used on silverware table items decor..also bakeing soda is also good make a paste and let it set for tough staining /tarnish
