Way to go, Paradiso. This thread is win. Wild Frontier is my favorite RPG on the app store, but I don't think it is getting enough attention. Most of the people on my TA friends list are there because I like their reviews and contributions to the site. Therefore, the first RPG fan from my friends list, as of this post, that does not own the game and will review it, both here and on iTunes, will get it for free from me. I'm in the US.
Great thread! I've joined the group. I'm actually more interested in occasionally gifting than receiving, however bizarre that may sound. UK only, though, for the gifts.
Umm, just a suggestion? If people dislike it, just let me know. Instead of asking/begging, put any games you might like to receive in your signature. That way if regular thread visitors see some game in your sig that they love, they can pass on that love. And that way, your "wishlist" will show up every time you post a game that you would like to give. Karma? Once again, just a thought... (And Paradiso, if this goes against what you were hoping this thread would be, I deeply apologize!)
A little love for the iPad folks... I love Venice Mystery! Any US folks in the group that have an iPad and haven't tried it? I'll take a couple of requests.
Tecwrtr, really man that's enough, you've spent so much gifting, I know it's good but really man. You're doing some great deeds that aren't reall necessary, thats awesome but you don't have to continue. The civility is too much.
I appreciate everyone participating For anyone who missed it, I made a group for this, just to keep it more organized and fair. The link is in my sig if you wanna join. And there's really no reason not to, even if you can't gift anything right now. We have a very generous community here, and they're giving away must have games for free! Thanks everyone.
Not a bad idea at all, I don't have a problem with it. My original idea was just having a place for people to help spread the fun of a hidden gem, or favorite game of theirs, that maybe wouldn't otherwise get the attention it deserves. And if people continue the trend of paying it forward, we all get great games, and devs get more recognition. Hopefully it catches on
