there is a maximum score for each lane one can achieve. Does it make sense to have a global score board where all the people have the exact same score on the top rank?
question for those that have been playing this: can you describe exactly how the controls differ from 10 balls 7 cups? does aiming really not matter at all? you just swipe at different speeds? i really want to get this for my skee-ball loving wife but it's sounding like she wouldn't be happy with the controls at all as they don't sound skee-bally-ish... btw she loves 10balls7cups (despite the horrid name reference) but this is so much more well-made..
The controls have a bit of a learning curve, but mostly for speed. I don't understand this notion of no aiming being present. Of course you aim, just like other skee ball games. I think this by far is the best of its genre. I will say again that I haven't faced any of the crashing/lagging issues reported, so that's a consideration as well.
thanks. i think i'll get it for her. i just heard in this thread about the no aiming and was confused by it.
Here's something about the controls that I found that may help some people struggling with them. Aim as if it was a line drawing game. Literally draw with your finger along the ramp to your target. Adjust the speed of your draw to account for distance. My scores improved dramatically after I discovered this method.
Who cares about score... I want the most tickets! So.. No big deal with scores. How about tickets? Most tickets saved up..Or somethin. then u have another reason to keep hittin it after u have all the prizes. Great game by the way. Going to buy all the addons now!
Spoiler: I haven't got it yet, but I think it's a cow that sneaks its head out on the very right side of the second row that you're supposed to hit.
You're supposed to highlight the text. It was switched by a mod to white text so as not to ruin a surprise. I hadn't considered that, especially since I'm not sure if I'm right.
I can't get the hang of hitting two targets with one ball. The law of averages suggests I'd have at least done it accidentally a few times, but... nope! Which leads me to assume there's a trick I'm not seeing. Anyone care to shed some light?
Did you catch my controls hint earlier? That has helped me get doubles although it's not foolproof obviously. Some ramps are easier for doubles than others like the clown ramp and the happy ramp.
