I do wish it had an aim and shoot mode (rather than just tap to shoot), but I can’t really complain about a premium title like this. Haven’t tried the console version to compare, but what’s here seems pretty meaty. agreen437 and Anotherkellydown like this. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 707 562 93 #3 elcrazy, Jul 5, 2024 Omg!! Yes! I agree! I haven’t played this and don’t know about it. Buuuut, just watched the video and yes, this is exactly what we need back on the AppStore. For some reason there hasn’t been a good on rails shooter in years. I miss the over the top on rails. We had some good ones for a while too. Downloading now and cannot wait to play. Hoping I can play offline as I will be heading up north and without wifi this weekend. But when it says on rails what does that mean? It’s a set path and you can only go one way? Or it moves itself along and you just handle aiming and shooting? Rage HD was awesome as well. I think that was the one in the carnival. This one is ok. I now bought both versions as I don’t realize there were two. I am hoping to get a refund on the first one. The graphics are much better on the high end version, you can also change the graphics. The game play is ok. It’s a fun rails. But feels like something is missing. I still prefer those old ones mentioned. They just did something better. There is lots here though and I think it’s worth the price of admission. Nice to have an on rails shooter again. I happen to be into really dumb on rail zombie shooters, so it’s perfect. The big conceit here is that you are listening to a YouTube streamer-style commentary the entire time you are playing. If that does not drive you crazy, then you can enjoy the complex level designs, the zombie dismemberment, and a few other nice details. I’ve played only through the first four levels (of seven), and they were all fun. This is essentially a high-scoring arcade game, so plenty of replayability (there’s a bunch of different modes I have yet to try). Again, as long as you’re are not put off by the running commentary, there’s a good time to be had here. elcrazy and Anotherkellydown like this.
