SimoxTa - Multiplayer as in everybody wants to be the Raid Leader? That could cause some awkward situations. ;-) Joking aside, Multiplayer is definitively in our plans for the future of Raid Leader. Unfortunately it's not something we can fit into the game before release. But that doesn't mean that we aren't already kicking ideas around on how to do it best. We will most certainly have more discussions on Raid Leader multiplayer here on TA and with the beta tester team. Raid Leader Co-op would be a blast, I'm sure! PeterV, RZG
Game looks great reminds me of the first time I saw Gauntlet in the Arcade as a kid I was blown away the pictures show a potentially great game
Dreadnok - That's a huge compliment. Especially since I also remember my awe when seeing and trying the four-player arcade version of Gauntlet for the first time. I hope we can do the comparison justice! ;-) Rivozzz - Our initial September release window is closing fast. We hope for a miracle, but October does seem more likely. Definitively this year though! Hi again, Seems like we haven't posted here in ages.. Still, much have happend since our last post and we have been super busy making Raid Leader feature complete, and polishing the game to be the best we can. Good to hear the great reactions to our new deal for Raid Leader. We also think that Crescent Moon is probably the best fit for Raid Leader that we could find. I'm sure we will have more info soon on what this deal means for Raid Leader. ... And who knows - Josh himself might drop by (He is one of the few people outside Red Zebra and closed beta testers that have actually tried the game). ;-) Peter/RZG
So, Just saw this game post today. First impression is the ui design is nice and clean. Art is crisp and well done as well. Good to see you are happy with Crescent Moon taking the lead. Can't wait to see trailer and game play. -
Hey there, Been completely swamped the last couple of days hence my late answers. Keep them coming. We have no fixed release date yet. We are polishing and fine tuning the game right now to meet the high standards of Crescent Moon Games. Raid Leader doesn't have a loot system per se. Rather, it has an extensive ability system that can be purchased and upgraded. I'm sure you will know more details concerning this before long. Yes, If you loved Battleheart by MikaMobile chances are you will feel right at home. We definitively share similar grounds, but at the same time we are also doing a lot of things different. Similar but different ;-) I never said there wouldn't be testing outside CM and RZG. ;-) /Peter
Definitely something I'm liking. If it plays as good as it looks you have a sale from me Keep us posted!
One thing I think that should be stressed with this game is that its fairly casual - unlike some of our other titles. You go from boss to boss, using special abilities and (obviously) tactics to take them down. Each boss has its own special attacks as well. The 3d characters are very nicely done, and the control handles very well.
