It's actually possible to get 3 metal balls with one shot or 4 wooden balls with one shot. I've got the screenshots to prove it I'll have the doll in Steel today. No time now. Some of us gotta work!
and i dont want to think about multiple balls with one doll that makes me want to think Q in 1 and the odds of that are just mind boggling so i will erase that thought. I might post some other screenshots on Q to keep interest up

Sof < 12 One level I still havent given its due respect (in terms of dolls wasted). I know the two approaches out there - a) direct impact on the stalk and b) bend the stack with a doll before impact (one I have favored more). Add to that the bump just before the impact. I am at 12 and before spending a lot of time trying both methods, just wanted to check if only a) or b) will get me to a 10 (I dont think I am aiming below that for now). Its been a good day with 3 shaves since morning so I might as well push my luck on this!
you will get a 10 with either of those methods. to get lower use a) but then what do I know I hate this level. You MUST have easier dolls to lose?
Mystery doll I have interesting screencaps of failed attempts of all the potential levels in room 9 (all of them are screencaps that are not like other screencaps posted in this forum before). Todays hint will be ONE screencap of a failed attempt from ONE of the left potential levels. The question is which level do you want to see the screencap from (Interceptor, Fast Ball, or Quintesson)? Choose carefully, since I will only show one!

Congratulations sjm! That is a real accomplishment! Bill got BD in 1 on March 27! He had that one alone for more than 50 days! I believe BD in 1 is the most difficult level out there!
