nope but i aimed at the middle or just right of middle of the two blocks and with the sights also below the two blocks if that helps. lol - just tried it another way and got it much easier than last time - wait a moment for screen shot

Congratulations! I just this second entered the wait for the 9. I must have shot 20 shots before it fell left. Have you noticed those few times when going for a 10 or above there is one time when the cannon rolls explosively through the stalk and snaps it a little above the ground? I think this is like the turbo ice on Quintesson. There are several levels with inconsistent speed when doing the exact same thing. I wonder if the time it falls over in 8 shots is the time it would have exploded through the stalk. I've noticed this on Wheeler Dealer and Big Wheel too.

No, it is not a waiting game. It's a perfect shot. You have to aim exactly on the red bolt. You'll be surprised of what happens.
