Sad thing is, I think the doll might have found its way to the target in a few seconds if given a chance but the momentum sent my cannon off screen. Once I made it back I see a perfect hole where I wanted it but no sign of my doll. I'm guessing it disappeared very quickly.
If you shot more than 5 dolls to go one way and back to look, the target doll would disappear anyway. It's somewhere around 5+ dolls for max onscreen at one time. So perhaps a distantly shot doll is still possible here.
Didn't shoot another doll. Went there and back on the original doll. A distance shot is not going to work, sadly. The good news is, another 10, right?
Ok, that was a little pissy, but this one hurt. At least I didn't get grinder in 6 and have it not register, huh? Congrats on that , btw.
Question Would you guys rather shoot 1,000 shots and suddenly hit the target or wait 12 hours for a doll to crawl to a target?
Hard to say. 12 hours is a shorter wait than 1000 shots sometimes. I like seeing what I'm shooting at but I like the tricky puzzles in the game such as crawling dolls. Probably would rather make difficult shots cuz of the skill involved, once a secret is out about a crawling doll or whatever, most of us get it done fairly easily**. So guess my vote goes for the shooting but I like it all. **BTW.. I'm a shameless beggar of secrets, so no glory there for me.
Sof Wish I were here for this conversation... I actually got it over a second time last night. I waited 5 hours before taking a shot. The cannon went to the target, then made 2 more round trips after that. Unfortunately, the blocks around the target never shifted for me like I've seen in screenshots posted by others. So instead of waiting any longer I took a shot and missed If I ever got the cannon over again and I see the shifting blocks, I'm gonna wait it out.
Sof Great...just got the cannon over in 8 again and now I'm second guessing what I want to do....bleh. Guess I'll try a marathon wait and see if the target ever exposes itself.
Cool. Is it a normal looking stack around the target? If so, why not make the typical shot at it? 'Course there is a chance of missing, but you're X.
No...not a normal stack...it actually fell down just as my cannon arrived and pushed it back left with a fair amount of speed. There was no clear opening for a shot...maybe on the way back.
Yes, the falling stack pushed my cannon back left. It just now rolled back to the stack and unfortunately it looks identical to your screenshot on page 99. Grrrrr....Sasquatch X grows angry. I'm gonna wait for another round trip and decide from there. Total elapsed time: 1hr. Edit: My biggest worry is that the stack looks identical at 1 hour to your screenshot which was taken at 3 hrs. That doesn't bode well for further changes in stack architecture.
SoF Look what happens when I reveal my method for SoF! Everyone starts looking at it! I actually had the stalk down with 8 (before I posted the method for 10), but it never fell to the left. Two other people have also subbed Congrats sjmcdowall and Clement 31200 and damn you Mr X for updating at 1 minute to midnight . LOL anywhere here goes for position 12 (Im sure that's where I started prior to subbing 4 dolls tonight. Ah well. I'll take consolation in joining the sub 270 club
