Clean head shot . Ok I have more thinking to do on that level. Didn't do much last night except set up Towers again. Got it two minutes ago after a wait of nearly 13 hours. I suspect I miss an earlier opportunity because I am sleeping! Never mind I have got it in one now. (273)
Mega ramp Might as well weigh in on this, seems the thing to do. I was going for the clean, feet first masher but dolly nicked the hole edge and tumbled in head first for the stab. SoF and Grinder2 are my obsessions ATM. Doll on dollas!** **EDIT: Vayduh- nice to hear you've had Towers success.
Son of Francisco Been using the SoF method posted by qambler. Last night 1 out of 4-6 tries resulted in stalk breakage. The first 19 breaking stalks fell right, 2 of those left a stalk stump. #20 breaker went left but I missed the end pay shot. After that one it was 5 minutes before the next left falling stalk, but I missed the end shot again. Lately I've been getting more frequent breakage, albeit mostly right fallers. Missed another end shot a while ago, but at present I'm waiting hopefully on another sl-o-w-ly creeping cannon to bring it on home. Prayers appreciated.
SoF -- You have the prayers from me ! Luckily it only took like 2 tries (although 40 minute waits) on SoF to get my 10 .. Working on Mega Ramp / Jail Break .. <sigh> .. today .. between going to Katz's Deli in NYC for the best pastrami sandwich ever! The lil' woman is going bead shopping (for those of you who bead or have SO's that do, some amazing bead stores in NYC !)
Update to SoF wait. Cannon is apparently creeping at a rate of 1 pixel per 10 min.... ?? It's been at least an hour and 15 and still no target in sight. I've almost given up, but I can see there is forward movement. Oh Ragdoll gods, have mercy, I gave my doll sacrifice this week. (Remember Grinder2?)
I was a 12 when the new strategy by gambler was posted. I got there in 9 as promised but missed the first shot and ended up with 11. Since then I've missed the shot 20 times. A few times the blocks protecting the target had already fallen over before the cannon got there. They were still completely covering the target but I hadn't rehearsed that shot. I probably should have waited. The cannon will keep rolling back and forth between the collapsed stalk and the target. Maybe when it went back there would have been a clear shot. I still haven't gotten Grinder 2 in 6. I swear the last time the doll went completely through and then decided to go back up between the wheels. I see myself getting down to 260-261 and then giving up. I want to push until 259. I don't think there will be a 240's club.
SoF I wondered about it rolling back and forth. I've gone off and forgotten about it a few times, then saw the cannon was moving away from goal, ...of course I panicked and took the shot. FAIL. After the second such episode it occurred to me that it might roll back again. Ugh, I just don't want to wait for that. There's important grinding to do. BTW, Bill, your waiting list was brilliant.
S*** outta Flex SoF news. 3+ hours of creeping to target and this is what I arrived to find. Didn't feel confident about aiming for the tiny little gap on top of the blocks so tried to do the conventional shot and hope to bust something open. Oh yes. FAIL Also did not feel up to a 6 hour wait for cannon's return visit in hopes of an open shot. Poor me. Whinewhinewhine
That's what I saw a few times too. Next time that happens try letting the doll roll back to the stalk and back. Maybe they will have fallen more by then.
SoL SoF That's what I meant by not wanting to do a 6 hour wait.... 3 hours to stalk and 3 hours back, because the cannon was creeping slower than usual. However, just for shits n giggles, I'll try that rollback if I see this again AND cannon's moving at normal 20-40 minute speed. I'm getting a pretty good breakage rate now.

SoF again SoF update for you devotees. The cannon is set for migration. This time the stalk broke in 2 pieces, haven't seen that before.
1000th post The 1000th post should get a special achievement award like.......oh nevermind there would have to be some sort of update for that to take place.
SoF love Well Bill, I didn't have to find out if there'd be an open shot on rollback. Cannon migrated speedily and no FAIL. So happy to be done with SoF until someone gets 9. Back to the Grindstone. RIP 262
Well, all this talk of SOF got me playing it again....I have a very interesting screen shot to post soon. Don't get too worried though.
As far as I am concerned if foxtails picture happened all on its own then this is a potential 1 level. You can hit the target from off screen - i just cleared the blocks from around the target rolled bacl left took a few shots and hit the target. If the blocks around the target move over time then this is a 1 or at least low singles potentially - but it will be even worse than rolly
