Doesn't seem the right way around does it?! Ta anyway, think i'll giev myself a weekend off though - can't be doing anymore waiting levels!
ok - I'm also not playing this weekend - family stuff, just sorting the son's DS atm. I have a screenshot of the second shot if it's of interest
I did an overnight wait on Bigger They Are. Nothing moved. About Totter. There is something going on. If you shoot a little to the left of the block below the target and gradually move the shot to the center there is a spot where the doll goes through the square block like it's not there. With the crosshair lined up right on the left edge of the block it will sometimes go through it. I feel like eventually the dolls head should go throuth the beam like it does in that other similar level.
Thought same but never ever had a head go through. I even thought it would not need to go through (like a couple of other levels). And sometimes you can go through lhs of block and I swear it must only be a pixel or so away from centre of target bit never had any fireworks. Lol.
Totter I messed with this a little last night. Once I shot right side and as target was rolling left I hit it through the wood, head didnt go through but it hit the target, kinda like when you get attraction through the floor. I've also hit right and left of the block and had nothing move. Workin the wheels right now but I'll give this some more time later. Due dolligence people
Totter I gave up on going through, but it might be possible. My current attempts involve letting the doll fall down to the cannon then timing a slow roll off the ledge with the falling of the target. The timing is near impossible, but I was close once or twice.
Interceptor Oh and in case you've been wondering what my phone has been doing for the last 30 hours....waiting on Interceptor I got a doll crawling feet first from the cannon off the screen. I'm calculating approx 3 inches of crawl per hour...so if that's right 90 inches of crawling has occurred and still no ding. I think I'm pulling the plug on this one.
I hope you get it. I know for a fact that the doll can crawl a long way because I shot one that tumbled WAY off screen and the next morning it had come back. I have never gotten one to crawl off screen. How close to the edge of the screen did it land to start the crawl?
A few weeks ago, I spent a lot of time trying that head shot, as well. Not convinced it's impossible, but had to move on. Have played around with your rolling idea too, X. Near impossible? Nah, not for Sasquatch.
I wanted to land it as far right as possible so I would know it was a for sure crawler (not a crawl halfway then stop type of deal). It started just right of the cannon. Unfortunately, I need my phone this weekend so the experiment has ended at 31 hours...no dice. Maybe someone with an itouch can let it sit longer. Pretty ridiculous IMO if you've gotta let it sit longer than 30hrs though...
That's why I switched to "let the doll fly as far as you can get it" and hope in crawled the right way. At least it would have a head start. Problem is, with nothing happens or the doll shows back up on the screen.
In the update that is coming (isn't it backflip?). They should add the ability to warp time or allow it to run at fast forward speed. . That would put paid to all these mega waits however I'd settle for: 1). Tutorial room added to plus 2). Total scores added to plus 3). More awards to cater for the extreme end of the game. 4). Some retrospective awards for the newcomers based on known actual scores 5). A backflip what we thought was possible award this will be too much to ask for but: 6). Level editor for user uploadable level content. I can dream!
Mega Ramp in 2 is a killer. Loads of times I've landed the 2nd doll right on top of the stick dead centre above the target and nothing. Sadly it always seems to land backside first, I'm guessing that is my problem. Has anyone who has it in 2 had it this way or do I need to get it going head first?
Crap that's what I thought would be said. Then the doll must have nicked the hole on the way down? (so it turned from being feet down). Ok thought that would be the case and at least that gives the problem some focus - lol
Mine went feet first but he spread his legs at the last second and mashed his big ol balls into the target. Ya know why, cause that's how he dolls
My dolls must be of the girl variety as I've had the splits landing quite a few times now and nothing. So girl or firing blanks. lol
decided to have a break and try Gearhouse and what do you know an almost instant 4 what can I do now to avoid the wheel levels? lol - probably back to the ramp or a look see to where else I have too many dolls.
