I forgot another one on Remote Control. If you shoot the thing to get the target to move left it tries to pull through the swinging door and only makes it half way. The doll was laying on the ground directly below. I left it on all night to see if the target would fall. It didn't.
The sub 300 top 20 list us close to being the sub 280 top 20. Down to 278 and still have not improved wheeler dealer or big wheel. Everytime I try them I just can't stick with them.
Tried several of those myself. I even thought about trying a SoF wait, thinking the stalk might fall over eventually but hadn't tried it yet. Dominoter. Waited all night in hopes of a two and the cannon had rolled off the platform to the right. Haven't tried again to see if it would go left somtimes, mostly because I saw X had been trying it and I figured he would have had it by now if it was possible. Anyone tried totter? I only waited about 40 minutes. What about The Bigger they are?
multitasking I need to be able to be reached so I cannot turn off my phone for calls which means that several times I have received a call when the doll has crawled half way or something similar... I assume everyone has that problem, or do you turn your phone to airplane mode when you play? I can't wait for iPhone OS 4 when I can actually receive calls and then go back to where I was in the game!
An alternative and easier way to get Son of Flex in 10! For me it was really hard to get the stalk to fall the conventional way: 1 shot to the right, wait until the cannon stops, 7 shots to the left to gain enough speed, 1 shot at the stalk before hitting it, waiting for the cannon to roll over the stalk to the target, and finally 1 shot at the target. Using the conventional way I could get the stalk to fall a few times. However, most of the time the cannon didnt make it on to the stalk. The very few time it did it stopped before reaching the end of the stalk. In some rare cases the cannon made it all the way, but the last shot didnt hit the target. Did anyone else have the same experience as me? What do you say jayspence, was is hard to pass the stalk in 9? Here is an alternative solution that I found was much easier: 1 shot to the right, wait until the cannon stops, 8 shots to the left, hit the stalk full speed, the stalk falls to the left over the cannon (see screen shots below), wait around 20-30 min until the cannon has slowly rolled to the target, 1 shot at the target. First of all you dont have to worry about timing the ninth shot at the stalk. Secondly, you will be able to get to the target much more often for a chance to hit the target. I dont mind the longer wait, since you know that you will have a chance to hit the target. In many cases the stalk will fall to the right instead of left when you hit it. However, it is much easier to have the stalk fall left than to go all the way over the stalk using the conventional method (I just did it again now to get the screen shots below and it took me only a few minutes). Lets see how long it will take for the next person to solve SoF in 10 using this method. Cheers!
I've had that scenario 100 times and I didn't know that it would come out from under the stalk on it's own. I would always fire 2-3 shots. Thanks. I'll get right on it.
Bah....I haven't shaved anything in 3 or 4 days!! The townspeople are lookin at me funny...Sasquatch X needs a shave!!!
Not as hard using that method, but like you say, the stalk often(usually) falls the other direction. Thankfully I only needed it to fall the right way once. It took about 45 minutes to an hour for my cannon to get there.
Have to admit I have gotten in trouble for not picking up or for not calling back in a timely manner from the girlfriend.
If you are at 255 you don't need to shave any dolls! Go and shave Sasquatch and take the weekend off!
Someone explain to me how vayduh can do jailguard 3 times without too much difficulty and I can't get it in like, 2000 resets?
I can explain why someone would HAVE to do a certain level more than once. Can you hear my teeth grinding? *EDIT: Oh and by 'DO' we mean 'BEAT', right? And that's in 6.
I did it second time to get a screenshot, the third was just to prove to myself that it wasn't a fluke. Plus it beats playing WD, or BW and what about mega ramp in 2! If that is 1 shot to roll down the one shot on the slope to get doll to go up and then down through hole and through stick to target then holy crap it will take me ages. In good news Shaved a few off Big Wheel, just a few more to go on that level before trying Wheeler Dealer. At least I think I understand the level - at last.
Just looked at the level scores on the front page - didn't realise cannon happy was a 2, any hints as i can't get my head round it, is it just luckily bouncing the 2nd doll of the trampoline and over onto the target?
^ basically except when you get it up on to the level the target is on you will never get enough momentum to get all the way over to the target so WAIT for the touch. I have had it up there and waited over 8 hrs and nothing - I'm guessing its head was stuck on the ledge so it couldn't move right to the target. The time I did get it up I guess I waited about 30 minutes. (You're one of the guys I'm chasing - can't believe I'm helping you again lol). GL with Cannon Happy.
