    Jail Guard/House of Cards

    Jailer (3.13) in 1.

The Blockage T.8 screencap is an amusing example of rubber doll syndrome, notice doll through block below cannon... Disclaimer: I have Blockage in 1.

House of Cards 3.2 question: is this a shoot and wait? Or wait and shoot. Seems like it should be easy, but not for me... yet.

I hear you. I'm like 65 dolls off the pace on Wheeler, Rolly, and Big Wheel alone, though admittedly I haven't focused too hard on them yet(ok, I have lobbed about 150 shots on Rolly looking for a one). I'm sure I could work on getting my 30 down to sub-20, but what's the point with a 1 lurking out there? Maybe I'll do it just for fun.

    Ice Flow in 1?

First I tried to shoot the slide thing at the upper right in a way that would tilt the slide down enough so the target might not make it off the screen and instead fall down. The ricochet of the doll should also touch the ice cube in the lower right and then land between the ice cube and the spring thing. I never could get the target to stay in the frame. The explosion would rebound the doll off the spring and put him in perfect positions for the target IF it would fall down.

I gave up and tried instead to knick the corner of the ice cube and land the doll on top of the ice and have it ride to the left and hopefully get dumped on the ice cube on the other side and possibly get exploded to the target. This is hard because the doll keeps sliding off the ice. No luck yet. And I think it won't work either.

Refresh your screen to see the animation.

    Bill,

Your first approach: It is possible to turn the slide thing such that the target goes down instead of up (see first screen shot where the first doll shifted the slide thing and the second doll moved the ice block). I have not been able to do both with one doll.

Your second approach: I managed to stay on the ice a bit longer, but I never managed to slide over the second ice cube.

I've been trying this for awhile. I can get the doll to stay for the entire ride, and I think that it's possible to get him on the second block if he's positioned correctly when the first one tilts. I noticed he gets closer when he's sitting rather than lying down.

Even if you could dump him onto the bomb, he would have to fly up toward the lever at the same time the target gets there after the explosion. I just don't see that timing out right (nor do I see the doll exploding up the left shaft). If that's the case, that's a lot of resets to get a one since I haven't even gotten to doll to the bomb yet and I'm certainly over a thousand tries.

I'm still going to try, though. Not that it matters for my leaderboard position since I can't get even get close on Three Strikes to save my life.

That's encouraging. The trick is to tilt the slide and have the doll touch the ice and land to the right of the ice between the cube and spring thing. When the bomb goes off the spring then pushes the doll out to the left under where the target comes down. Is it possible to tilt the slide down enough and still get the doll to go over to the ice cube or does it have to be a more direct shot at the slide?

Here's the thing. If the doll touches the bomb it goes off downstairs instead of on top. The target may just do a slow roll over to the slide and then come down to the doll (if it's anywhere around). My guess is the doll will be embedded in wall somewhere.

Yes, exactly, but I never got these two things to happen with one shot. I never managed to tilt the slide enough and get the doll behind or even on the ice block.

What I'm now thinking is that you don't need to tilt the slide. If the doll rides over and touches the bomb it will go off down there. Maybe that will get the target to do a slow roll instead of going up the slide.

    Re: Ice Flow in 1?

This is how much the slide needs to be tilted just before the target hits for the target to go down instead of up (after this screen shot the target went down after hitting the slide). Note also that the slide has a spring so it wants to go back to its original position. Hence, it is important that the bomb detonates as soon as possible after the slide has been tilted.

    Woo-hoo, I'm in - 298!

I finally got around to getting somewhat respectable scores on Wheeler Dealer and Big Wheel.

    BTW, Jump around = 4.

And can anyone point me in the right direction for a 1 in The Furnace? Is the shot low, mid, or high or is there any sort of waiting involved? I've tried numerous different approaches and never got very close...

I assume this is the way to go but I haven't had any luck in about 300 tries:

Revisited Furnace b/c of your post and got it. It happened very fast for me. There was no slow sliding of lava blocks/doll or waiting for the roll of the ball. It was more wham-bam. The doll just kinda flew around and hit the target with it's knee. Every time I had gotten close was a situation similar to the above but the target just wouldn't roll into the doll.

Any tips for us on Jump Around?

After numerous fails from the left, when I got Furnace it was actually from the right side.
