Vineyard How is it possible to get vineyard in 1? I've searched the entire thread without success, and this seems far from obvious. I tried waiting half an hour without results. Am I not waiting long enough?
@Phantom Thanks! Surprised that worked. Any tips on Wheeler btw? How did people get it in under 20? I have 26: •7 shots to clear first set of obstacles •5 shots to push wheel forward •~13 shots to get to end •1 shot to hit target (edit) Also, I think I'm missing something serious on SoF and BW… I have 18 and 41 respectively.
I just got a 5 on Salmon Run. I waited and the cannon settled in the middle and wasn't going up and down anymore. I waited longer and it started moving again. I ended up getting the perfect position for the shot and took it. When I got to the target room there were 10-15 balls crammed around the target. I took the shot and the doll wormed its way down to the target. Now can we get the two hackers scores off the leaderboard?
@Danny I sure hope you meant 8 to clear first set of obstacles, because otherwise a 15 is possible. 8 shots to clear first three sets of pillows 1 shot to push the wheel away If a "magic ramp" forms, then skip next step. Otherwise shoot the wheel (now stuck in the gap) to form a ramp. 5 shots to clear the gap 1 shot to clear the last gap 1 to hit the target I think the strategy is more eloquently elaborated earlier in this post. BW. Nothing special. Just make sure all your shots are at the top left or bottom left corners of the screen when the aiming beam is tangential to the wheel to maximize the rotation per shot. Howdy Hi all, I've been playing RB2 for quite some time now and managed to get some of the tougher levels done, and my overall score down to 310. At this point I'm running into some seriously challenging ones to go any lower. Was browsing for tips and stumbled on to this forum a couple weeks ago, and it's been very helpful on some stuff I struggled with (I think I was around 315 when I first came here)! I'm glad there are fellow enthusiasts out there willing to spend endless hours firing dolls and share the fun. I'm currently rotating through 7 levels that I'm hoping to get some help with? I'm pretty sure these are all either head tricks or just very precise shots, but I've fired thousands of dolls so I've got to just be off target. Any tips would be excellent! Level (Current Score) - Hoping for tips on... Breakthrough (3) - Left/Right positioning on the shot Attraction (2) - shot strength/general thoughts Leverage (2) - this one is a long time nemesis, so anything Gearhouse (5) - stumped. can't get it depressed with just 3 :-\ Mega Ramp (3) - any reliable way to get perched more often? Big Wheel (27) - can't seem to get lower...more perfect shots or some trick at the end? Space Oddity (2) - get him hung up while target gets free, then he slips and hits? Feels like an eye-bleeder... More Shaves + 1 Tip I found Thanks for those tips! I was able to get Breakthrough, Leverage, Attraction, Gearhouse, and 2 out of the 3 on Big Wheel so far. Also happened to pick up Blast out, Jammed, and 1 less on Jail Guard but it's still a 2. Total of 10 dolls, so I'm down to 300! I'm hoping for some suggestions on which of the following levels might be good candidates for the next 5 dolls? I know they're all pretty rough, but any thoughts and tips would be wonderful. Level (Current Score) Remote Control (2) - Upward deflection off switch? shot strength? Crusher (2) - Tried waiting and a lot of different shots... Stack Order (3) - Trying to wrap my mind around this being a 2 lol Wheeler Dealer (18) - Is this just more luck in the setup to get lower? Big Wheel (25) - Having trouble stopping the wheel in 9... Son of Flex (11) - Tips on repeating a good knockdown? Been in setup for a 9 before but blew the shots :-/ Quintesson (3) - 2? Really? /bow Teleblocks (3) - I'm strikin' out here. 3 was a really long wait. 2 just even longer? My tip for Gearhouse: I actually had better luck repeating the 3-shot with the 3rd doll aiming at a different location (I missed and hit bombs twice, but only took one or two tries to repeat, so for what it's worth...). Vertically, you want the cross-hairs so that on the bottom where the circle intersects the line is level with the top of the blue part of the portal. Horizontally, you want the bottom cross-hair to be a little less than its own width to the left of the portal. If you connect right in this spot, he really zooms at a nice downward angle and clicks the switch if the other 2 are stacked in the middle of the platform. Thanks again!
Great spot for gearhouse, I got it on my first try, as for the others you have listed Remote Control - this took me well over a month to get so I have no tips and would not recommend putting this on your to do list for the near term, but others have gotten it fairly quickly so do what ya do Crusher - aim the horz cross just above center target this knocks the bar halfway out from under the target, now the doll needs to be feet towards the target and crawling, from there it's just a question of the doll ending up under the target when it falls, easy peezy Stack order - 1st shot up thru tele to knock target down, 2nd shot blows dynamite and knocks target down to bottom level and then needs to be feet right to crawl thru the tele and hit the target, piece of cake Wheeler Dealer - 8 to the wheel 9 to knock wheel toward gap if it forms a ramp by itself(which happens very rarely) 6 over the ramp one over the next gap and the pillow pile and one at the target for 17 or 5 over the ramp and the rest for 16 wait until about a half inch from ramp to start shooting and the last shot should be at the very top of the ramp, I don't even know if 16 is possible if not done on the iPad Big wheel - 4 to slow the roll 3 to stop (shoot the 3 just as the edge of the wheel passes even with the edge of the ledge) Son of Flex and Quint - pm me if you want the secrets, they're not really mine to spill in public Tele in 2 is a 4 hr wait a skilled shot and another bunch of hours wait or a very skilled shot after the top tele is in the bottom corner in one What else ya got, anyone? More than the Top 25?? I am late to the party here on RB2; just got it in November. Are there any other scoreboards aside from the Top 25's in the Plus link in the game? I am in the top 100 in just about everything, but have a long way before I have my name in lights. It would provide some encouragement to see progress w/o getting sub-300.
I haven't seen one. Maybe you can send an email to Backflip. The only way to get to sub 300 is to become a RB addict. Be sure to turn the music off or you'll be humming it wherever you go and in your dreams.
Salmon Run vs. Continued Sanity. I am getting close to 300! I am at 326 now and shaving about 2 dolls a day. My nemesis is Salmon Run. I cannot seem to push through the airflow on the third set of blowers (the ones that blow from the right) in a reasonable number of shots. Is there a secret switch to turn the fans off?
I still need to improve Salmon Run too but did you know that you should wait before taking your first shot? Sometimes a loose ball will come up and knock the cannon off.
I can do the first part, if I am patient. It's just that I suck so bad a getting through the room with all the balls and the hallway with the fans after it.
What score are you trying for on SR? Different strategies for 4, 5, or 6. Much harder for the four and five. Let me know if you need help with strategy.
We have a new doll! Bridge Mix in 2! IDoc got this in HD and didn't know if it could be done on the phone or iPod. It can. I did it on my iPod today in an hour.
