I second this request for hints... I am trying the same method, doesn't seem to come close. And no other technique has occured to me.
Bomb Interceptor Ok, this level is driving me crazy. I've finished the entire game except this one and for the life of me I can't figure it out and I'm feeling rather dumb right now. I'm within a few ragdolls of the leaders on every room except the last two which I haven't started to really work on yet but I can't get past the one freakin room! Any help would be appreciated Room 9.15
Its all about timing, lob a doll at the bomb on the right of the divide, this will fire the other bomb off to the left, when it's under the target you need to hit it with a doll. The explosion will force the target up and over the ledge dropping it down past the cannon, you need to hit it before it drops off the screen. Took me a few goes to get the timing right. I assume nobody has better than 3 for this?
Rolly mystery Playing with Rolly and trying to imagine what the answer to this mystery could be. Single digit score--Incredible! I use 4-6 just getting off the first green ledge. Anyone have clues or thoughts to share? Could there be a hidden or offscreen target? In addition to the obvious one at the end?
Rolly Mystery I think it's a one. I shoot one off the screen to the right and I hear a bomb go off ( I can do this consistently in a couple of different spots) Once I swear I heard a second bomb go off, though that may have been a wishful hallucination. I have a 15 on Rolly and when I got it I did not have the target in sight, I shot one from the left of the third bomb to where I thought the gap between the blocks would be, I got it. So if you don't need to see the target there's no reason you can't hit it in one from the beginning of the level, albeit a very lucky one.
Rolly mystery Right now I think your bomb hypothesis is the best possibility. I've lobbed dolls around and sometimes they come flying past, after a wait. In other levels the dolls do not have that kind of distant life.... So that would be an intentional design for Rolly, I think. Didn't see Frizzler's post before this. Sounds like you have the answer. -- Your shot to gap in blocks... Do you mean a vertical gap? Did you have to wait long for doll to wiggle down?
just got it! could anyone help me with 8.15.. i think i know what to do but the wheel keeps getting stuck im trying to move backwards first and then stop at the edge, then move forward and build up speed to cross the gap. that right? or am i missing something edit: nevermind, got it.. silly me
Let me reitterate(sp?) I do not have a one on Rolly. When I got my 15 I was sitting just left of the third bomb, all the blocks were out of sight, had to wait ten seconds or so before the brrring! I didn't see the little guy wiggle but he must have. Yes the vertical gap in between the target column and the one preceding it.
i think the bomb noise you guys have been hearing in rolly is the first bomb on the third or fourth green platform lol
Thanks for clarification Frizz. Rolly in 1, why not?-- perhaps with bomb help. Playn-- I've had all three bombs go off. Hoping one will put a doll in the right place or maybe skip a doll from one bomb to another to get it there. Who knows? What am I saying?! I'd be really happy with 15!
I have a 3 but know this is a 2 - I can just feel it Knock upper ball as you are doing, once the 2 balls are resting on the boxes, aim for the lava square thingmy and you want the doll to fall off and be half way to the floor when the blast goes off, this throws that doll against the wall on the left hand side and it will bounce out into the middle rather than get blasted into the lhs corner. If everything goes your way the target will roll out and they touch I've been close enough to know that this is at least possible. I've given up for now on The Freezer and Turnabout - that's about 4 days of my life never to be recovered and not one single doll improvement.
Thanks. For some reason my brain wasn't registering the fact that the second bomb wasn't actually detonating.
Does anyone have a one on Crusher? I've been able to ricochet a doll off the beam and land the doll on top of the structure. It looks like it could crawl off the edge and then crawl back to the target. You can't see the doll on top, it just doesn't come down. If I shoot a second doll up there they both come off the other side. The trouble is you can't tell what position the doll is in. I've waited over an hour and the doll doesn't fall down. Since you can't see it, it could be on it's head.
Hi everyone, thanks for this great topic full of good tips. I really would like to achieve The Freezer level with 3 dolls, but I'm stuck with 4... The top left hand corner wooden block would'nt pass over the hole... I've been trying for hours with various techniques and angles, in vain... What a great game though, very addictive ! Please guys, I have the strategy for The Freezer level, just help me to pick the right skill in order to throw this wooden block ! Edit: I have finally got it!
Crusher On my screen the doll on the top is barely visible.. just a sliver. So far I've only been able to land it left of center and it crawls to the left.
