    Misunderstood

Ok, clearly Big Dipper is not the best example. But I'm sure everyone here has a level that they are proud of or one that was/is their nemesis and would like to know some background stats on it.

Many times people on here have said how many times they have reset, ie, your post #954 on P 96 about JG. So to add a bit more of the competitive ribbing and sarcasm that is already often present in this forum, someone like Foxy who was able to do it more easily or Vayduh who crazily enough went back at it a few times could compare with someone like me who nearly had an aneurysm trying to complete it!

It was merely a suggestion, nothing more.

    Cheers,

    Rhyno

First off. Congratulations on your first post.

Turnabout is not a waiting level - not 6 hrs anyway.

Have a good look through the thread and you will find the clues you need.

iOS4 didn't allow RB2 to run in the background either.

I do like stats. The more the merrier. I hadn't thought about Bill's comment before though. You can bet there would be a different dynamic if dolls thrown and reset counts were part of each level or of the awards system.

Would you share a tip that you had spent 10000 dolls figuring out with someone who had fired 100 on the same level?

That said bring it on. If love an option to see how many dolls / how many resets / etc.

I think the possibility is there for a different dynamic, yes. However I also think for ground breakers like yourself, Bill, Puujee, X, Steve, Qambler, Foxy, Frizzler et al that have found new shaves most likely didn't do so with 100 shots. You guys are pioneers and as Bill pointed out in his email with Backflip they thought 450 was the number to shoot for.

So maybe it is something that has no merit/awards but when I was thinking of the awards, the one "If at first you don't succeed" came to mind for 10 tries. Maybe something like that for 5K resets or so. Really just thinking out loud and trying to add my $.02.

Now for the part about someone who does find a new shave over thousands of tries and shares it then someone is able to do it quickly, then yes, I think that sucks and that they wouldn't deserve any "bragging rights", but then again, I think that we are all fair here and I know that I've read on here when someone points out how good so and so did on finding that shave but was wrong in naming the original shaver, it is quickly corrected.

As a last thought, perhaps the counter is something that can be turned on/off. Or the option to reset the "reset" counter.

Don't get me wrong I want those stats - and any others they have hidden away. Distance dolls traveled anyone :p

Reseting the counter would be awful though.

I would also love loads more awards. BF are in the perfect position now where they could easily add new awards based on a much better awareness of what is possible level by level - they just need to look at X's post on the first page here.

Also your awards on dolls fired would be great too. I'd love to see a 10k dolls fired in one level award lmao. Imagine the fun!!! I probably already have that on some levels.

Yes. Very impressive. I guess that you and X are the only one to have that!
I have a few idea about it but none is realist...

    2¢ worth

Heres my 2¢. Really enjoying this conversation and the great ideas, guys. I'm encouraged to hear Backflip is taking an active part in sorting out Bill's scoring problems. And I'm impressed that they're following our gameplay so closely, stats and conversations and all. Very cool! Nice that the game we've put so much time and heart into actually cares... *sniff* (Pardon the female moment) ... of course I get they're smart business men if they take care of and encourage their gamers. Still, good for you Backflip. Here's to hoping you bring out more levels or are developing RB3 or something that keeps us dollin. By the way, if you ever market the phrase "Doll on!", share it with Frizzler, he started the cheer that's gone round the world. Or at least to the underside, to at least to one Ozzie and a few Brits. Maybe a frenchie, but I digress. Give Frizz a taste if you put "doll on!" on tshirts. ((there ya go Frizz, I tried)) --My family actually tried to find me a dollin gift, (tshirt, whatever) for mothers day. Umm, that says something about me, my family, but let's not analyze that too deeply. Or at all.
Ok I wandered far off where I started but what the hell, so there's my 2¢. Bringin it round home again.

If the RC barks, then its the one! :)

Going to skip WD for a while -- can't get my hands around that one yet (sheesh X!) -- so a little V room action to get my RoF down before the update ...

    238  superb

RC just isn't falling for me at all. Pretty sure I am close but still no luck.

Go for WD - 237 is best known possibility at the moment - it sure would be awesome for someone to get all best known scores before the update.

WOW!!! Massive congrats Steve! I'm working diligently on RC tonight myself, but no luck as of yet. Been close to what I think is the solution.

    Wd 16

I've played around with that level a bit -- and am pretty well have my haired pulled out on how to get a 16 . I've tried ramp jumping in 5 (very possible) -- but then I haven't even come close to making the next set at all ... way too slow ..

So unless some of you other geniuses (or X) care to give some clues -- not sure how much progress on WD I can make .. let alone -- even knowing how to do it -- making it so ... WD 17 was a bare -- and probably 16 takes a magic ramp again as well as something else ...

Coming from he who has every other one...I'm pretty sure you'll get it!

My guess was at a 5 over the ramp as well, but trying this resulted in exactly as you say.

One thing I haven't had the time to try (too busy trying to get SoF or another incredibly difficult level) is to jump the gap with 6 as normal and no shot over the last gap. Would the cannon make it over? If so, perhaps a lobbed doll over the last set of pillows down the opening and crawls to the target??? Hmmm.

If you're right, then a 15 is possible on WD with the magical ramp.
