Started working on this over the past few days too. Congrats to iDoc for beating me to the punch ;) Very nice shave! Was lucky enough to get it myself today. Low-def gonna be much tougher. Probably need the ipad.

Thanks for the Bridge Mix tip. Got it. Now I just need Mega Ramp in 2.

    Bridge mix

Wow. I am surprised how quickly everyone is getting this level. It took me a few days! Cool. Who's got the next new shave? I got nothing realistic. Ready for that update. Anybody heard anything?

As a side note, anyone have a screen cap of their aim on BD from low def RB2?

Yeah, BMix wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.. now if only GD would cooperate. Or BD.
Speaking of which, here's where I'm aiming in HD and where I aimed in ld... essentially the same .. but it looks a little different if you're going by the screen edges.
Hey Idoc, didn't you get BD in low def?

    BD

I did get BD in low def, but didn't screen cap the aim. I got it early on and didn't realize how difficult it was.

If you go by the screen caps, it seems that the aim should be just slightly less than full strength in HD. If one of us gets it, we should post the aim. Just like our agreement for SO.

As far as I know, the SO honor belongs to sjm (Steve) and dSage. Steve didn't take a screencap and Sage has a cap in his SO album.

    Blind Bridge Mix in 2

I got a doll that fell vertical at the top. The cannon fell through the 2 vines. It was a little too far to the right and I couldn't even see any wood or the target. They were completely off screen. I just fired where I thought it would be and as I was reaching for reset the level completed and the fireworks went off.

It wasn't that bad. Got it today in under an hour playing on my iPod. I had 2 on the leaning against the vine in the first 5 minutes. I couldn't take a break after that. I'm back in a 3-way tie for Number One in the World in the low def version.

Ultimate Guide to WD in 17/18 --

    This is kinda random....
To anyone lurking out there needing Wheeler Dealer help.. I ran across Steve's post (#2339 page 234) on the low def thread. It is/was the ultimate WD guide.

Me?..I'm still seeking WD16.. haven't devoted any real time to it yet. It requires the magic ramp plus jump said ramp in 5, then next gap in 1.. very tough. In practice I've been able to do the 5,1 but have never cleared that last evil pillow pile.

Best shave of RB2 HD and RB2 LD

Now that the shaves are slowing down, I thought it might be interesting to see what everyone thought was the best shave of RB2 HD and RB2 LD. For me, it is a level requiring a combination of luck and skilled shooting, and also with an ingenious solution.

My vote for RB2 HD - Doomsday 4.

My vote for RB2 LD - a tie between Wheeler Dealer 16 and Salmon Run 4.

    What do you all think?

For LD I would have said ice flow, but when the backflip guy described the removal of the offscreen plank it kind of ruined the mystique for me. It was still a pretty cool shave though. I'll have to think about HD and get back to you, Push me pull me in 5 was pretty sweet until it became an easy 2.

    Shaves

I would have to say for HD BW in 23. The only reason I say that is I got it in 24 on MY VERY FIRST TRY and have yet to get it in 24 in LD. Still stuck on 25.

    Bw23

There is a way to get BW23, but I don't think it is possible by traditional means. X discovered this method, but it is damn near impossible. Please prove me wrong!

    Levels

My favorite levels are those that, as stated before, require ingenuity, luck, and skill...in the right ratio. I think time should also factor in, as the best levels have mutliple solutions and often the most ingenious comes last. Many of these only make sense if you were along for the ride. Once a new solution comes out, it starts to seem more and more obvious. Cheers to the pioneers of the Ragdoll trail!

My top 5's (not necessarily in order):

    Low-Def:
Ice Flow 1- Very cool, outside the box solution
WD 16- Took awhile to even figure out how to begin to tackle this level
Salmon Run 4- Doesn't even seem feasible at first
Dominoter 2- 2-3 day wait?? Are you insane?
Bridge Mix 2- The newest low-def level to be shaved. Good mix of all criteria.
    Runner-up: Geared Up 1

    High-Def:
    Doomsday Machine 4
    Going Down 2
    Springboards 2
    Push Me Pull Me 2
    Phantom Target
Runner Up: Four Cylinder (More luck involved than I like)

I just realized BM is a "2". I know I am childish, but I still giggled inside.

Funny you should mention that. When I got it in HD and the original version I almost posted that I achieved 2 BM's in one day...or I had a big BM and a small BM. I didn't because I wasn't childish ;). But I guess I am after all.
