Bought. Wish I wasnt snowed under with work. Between this and Noblemen within a few days, I'm in awe with what I can play on my iPad. Will be mirroring it via Apple TV just to stare at the graphics. Hope those few leftover bugs get ironed out but even so, I love supporting developers who make games like this.
Great Job! Loving the game but stuck. When it says activate towers. Not sure we're to start...cleared tower 1 but nowhere to input code. Can anyone help?
Yeah great game the more i play it the more i like it. If they fix some bugs and clunky movement it will be beautiful
Got the remarks above as well. We'll add a way to get rid of tips in the next update. For the battery, the only way to improve power consumption is lowering graphic settings (in settings).
dev, havent had the chance to say thanks for the hardwork on the update. im sorry if i sound a bit harsh on the initial review but i really love the game and all i want is to give constructive criticism to make the game even better. anyway, is it possible to make the character goes faster or maybe the same speed as move forward when he goes sideways/backward? just to make the combat more fun when dodging enemies. also is it possible to sneak through the enemies while crouching?
Ugdvnr - can you make the tips a toggle so if you want a tip you can get it in case you forget. Second love the graphics on my 12.9 pro! Guys play this game on a iPad if you have one. Started on a iPhone plus then moved my cloud to the pro Happy I did Third thanks for keep updating the game. I know you said premium is dying earlier in the thread but I hope you guys got success out of this great game! I hope you guys consider making another one down the road. Loved island and now greatly enjoying city.
Was on the road and was playing on iPhone on medium graphics still warmed up. Can it be the shadows maybe just trying to figure out what other feature it might be? Game still looks great on the 7 plus on medium graphics
This game destroys my battery life. I have a battery pack case and normally my battery never gets below 99% unless the pack runs out but this thing dropped my battery to 83% with the pack.
Im struggling a bit with the early game, so how about a little discussion of strategy? I'm thinking that one good strategy early on is to collect all weapons you find and stockpile them near transit sites. But your pockets are extremely limited until you find the right clothing and should we also be stockpiling food? Do you guys race to the military base to get firearms and then go back to the early areas to explore and follow the quest tasks? This game doesn't seem to require crafting for survival like the other one did. Do you go through phases of stockpiling craft ingredients and then crafting in batches? Or don't bother crafting at all much?
Zombie shooting game? Just a zombie game or are there some clever puzzles? Graphics seem nice, cant decide to give a try for 5 box
Missing vehicles! Hi ugdvnr I'm on my second playthrough and suddenly my supply-filled vehicles are missing. The icons for them still appear on the map, but they're just not there. I've restarted, reloaded, etc, to no avail. Hope you can help.
I'm on my second playthrough, here are my thoughts on strategery: Crafting is an utter waste of time. Don't bother. Max out "Firearms Proficiency", then "Speed", then "Strength", then "Stamina". With maxed out firearms the toughest zombies can be sniped with 5 shots (1 with the Nagant Sniper) and you never miss unless they're moving. Use trucks/cars as storage*. If you are in a vehicle when you use rapid transit, you jump in the vehicle so it's really easy to move your storage from place to place. In the beginning areas, where you're in villages with water wells and fences, you need to explore the heck out of the buildings. You'll find weapons, wearables, food, etc. If you don't do this and just try to go into high-rise buildings and get firearms you're probably going to get killed quickly. Weapons: hoard the submachine guns / ammo and keep the yellow handled axes for melee. Ignore everything else. Rocket launcher is cool but not worth the space. Nagant sniper takes up too much space and ammo is hard to find (although 1 shot 1 kill is nice). Pistols suck. Shotgun is too slow to reload and takes up too much space. If it's not food, water, guns/ammo, perfect radiation suit, "military X" wearables (or an industrial flashlight), don't stockpile it. Of course get the best wearables. Meds: collect bandages and anti-poison, anti-venom, antibacterial. Ignore radiation pills, only time you get radiation sick is when your radiation suit fails and you're pretty screwed then anyway. Level up by completing the missions up to where you need to start finding codes. Then start searching the apartment buildings and load up on ammo. Dump all your upgrade points into firearms proficiency. Next, farm higher level zombies by setting up shop at a transport point close to a tower. Run to the tower, kill everything, collect the good stuff, run away from the tower a ways, run back (hopefully you ran far enough away that the zombies respawn), and kill everything. Keep doing that and you'll level up quickly. Plus the tougher zombies drop good military wearables and ammo. Days start at 0600 and end at 1800. So by 1700 you need to be very close to your sleeping location. You can see what time it is in the upper right hand corner of the interface that you open by tapping on phone icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Food/water: I keep four water flasks and I wait until my thirst is orange before drinking. Otherwise you go through water too quickly. Same with eating unless I'm injured, then you have to be full to heal. Sleeping is magic: if you're thirsty/hungry/injured you'll be all better when you wake. * I've just lost my storage/trucks cars due to a bug, so... hopefully they fix that quickly. ** UPDATED: 09/12/2017
Jesus christ, do you ever stop to think about what you're writing before you just hit post? Do the math here. Let's say well over 3000 copies is more like 4000 copies, or let's be generous with your figures and say 5000 copies sold. Now let's do the math. The current title is priced at 5 dollars, so let's go with that. 5k * $5 = $25,000. If you think that's even REMOTELY worthwhile to live off, you aren't old enough to know I guess. The team has to take the time to develop it, and test it, and fix things, and even after the launch they have to patch it. So we can safely assume they spent many months making the game, if not years who knows. And there were several people involved. Bills have to be paid. Food has to be put on the table. How far do you think 25 thousand dollars takes you (or much less as you suggested). Fact of the matter is, Premium games aren't thriving comparably speaking to freemium games. That's just a fact. I wish it was otherwise. Goddamn I wish it was otherwise, but freemium games are doing amazingly well when you compare the biggest earners. People, for the most part, just aren't willing to fork over money for premium games, and the quality of developers aren't exactly booming. There are a few, but it's not something to write home about. Sure, it's getting better, and hopefully Apple will start taking the platform seriously when it comes to games as times goes on, but we have to look far between quality premium releases.
Oh man, I had hoped they would improve upon that from the last game. Even when plugged in, my iPad Pro lost charge when playing Radiation Island. Anyway, after having read the comments, I think I'll wait until they fix the majority of the issues. I actually really enjoyed the quirky mess that was Radiation Island, and I'll probably end up playing this title too, but it sounds like there are just too much nonsense going on right now to really enjoy it. It's like a Bethesda game. Only really worthwhile playing after half a year or more when they've ironed out the worst of the kinks. Still, it's good to see they are keeping at it, and didn't give up with the last game, even if it wasn't an amazing game by any stretch. I would never even have touched it on the PC, but it hit a much needed spot for the iPad, and I highly enjoyed my time with it.
thanks for the hint. really helpful @dev, can you please tweaks the jumping animation? its really awful, tbh my friend here can do lot better than that. just saying though.
I have 4 towers left to activate but every time I go into one there is no transport area. Not sure what to do???
