With all the subjective qualities of opinion invested in my post above in mind, I hope I won't disappoint you fellas thanks to bad taste on my part
Addendum to my above post: Race After 1977 certainly has its share of problems, but to my mind, they are not, as a general rule, to be found in the actual races, car handling, track design, physics, AI, etc. A bit like Reckless Racing in that regard (the auxiliary mechanics and systems are rather bare-bone), but with *far* greater amount of content. So, regardless of what is added to the game, and what is not, the racing will still be hugely fun. Not to mention the future prospect of multiplayer...
Man, looks stunning. I guess that is the revamped HUD that was being hinted at? I really like it. I think the physics and the track in the video look like a lot of fun as well. Really looking forward to this one.
I hope this out soon.....looks so good! I have a feeling my iTunes account is going to take a hit this month...
Here's my preview of the game (Looks like I'm beginning to count as press! ): Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
It's done ... We just submitted Race After 1977 for iPhone to Apple... Will keep everyone posted on the progress.
iPad version is being finalized (adding some content for the iPad2 and fine-tuning a few features for the new hardware) and will most likely be submitted to Apple within the next 10 days. As with the iPhone version we will announce when we submit the binary to Apple here and on twitter / facebook.
Finally....I believe this was supposed to be submitted way back in January but it got delayed. Oh well, hopefully that time was well spent, looking forward to release.
