Yep this is true, I can't be bothered clean restoring ever again. Gamecenter is gone, they don't care. I honestly can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. On a positive note I got 3 free iTunes songs for my troubles.................... ######....# I hate you Apple!
New update doesn't fix it. Won't buy another apple product for awhile. Looking at new Samsung Galaxy after my contract is done

There's a new ios 9.2.1 and it freaking works lol I'm so happy... Two months ago I erased my iPhone and it worked until last week it stopes now there's an update that final works well see how long it'll work for...
I'm happy this update worked for you. But it did NOT WORK for me and many others apparently. So it's not really a fix. You're just one of the lucky ones.
iOS 9.2.1 came out yesterday but was available in beta for quite some time. All it does, for some, is fix it temporarily. It's generally a matter of minutes, hours or days until you get the GC bug again. Same goes for a full restore, the bug eventually comes back. iOS 9.3 (Beta) doesn't fix it either (for now).
man - iOS 9.2.1 or the one that rolled out today has completely screwed Game Center on my phone now. Not even an intermittent log-in now. Still haven't bought a game since I got the white-screen of doom but I will be picking up Crashlands, which, thankfully uses Butterscotch's own achievement system. You can stick your Game Center, Apple - until it's back working, of course.
I'm still on ios 7, I didn't go to 8 as I read bad things about it on the mini, and as I'm planning to buy a new device later in the year I figured I'd stay on 7 as I plan to keep this device for books, photos and games that I know won't work on 9. I really hope that gamecentre is fixed before I buy a new one, as although I don't have any issues on ios7, a lot of my friends are not on leaderboards and I miss sending sending arsey messages to people like slam when I'm kicking their butts. It's a joke that Apple have not fixed it!
No, I didn't do a restore this time. I've done so many since this problem began that I've pretty much given up on that, and reading others' experiences made me feel it wasn't worth the bother. Very frustrating.
