Looks like I will wait for an update to fix some issues first. 3 stars on App Store for this game isn't good and most are saying last years version is better. Some positive reviews are popping up and I was going again to grab it up and then saw that it's 2.68GB holy crap that's a lot of space and I don't have crap for space. Once installed im guessing it will be 3GB or more. Can't do it has nothing to do w price and more to do w space and possibility of it not being very good. Again, the same game is released, my childhood favorite next to Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! RBI 16 was also removed from the PS4 store. I doubt it has anything to do with the Show. Dailon80 Well-Known Member Nov 10, 2014 3,574 66 48 Program Director/Radio DJ Eos #7 Dailon80, Mar 30, 2016 My childhood favorite was Mike Tyron's punch out as well as RBI baseball and Castlevania 1 and 2. Wish we could get a good castlevania on phones I'm seeing the same about the ball and I wonder if that's just people who haven't adjusted to hitting on RBI which can be tough to newbies. These RBI games are still not like the classic games but I guess they never can be. curtisrshideler Well-Known Member Patreon Bronze Jul 30, 2011 3,097 25 48 Male Video Producer/Editor Texas http://twitter.com/curtneedsaride #8 curtisrshideler, Mar 30, 2016 Weird. Last year really improved upon the first one in my opinion. Having that mid-game save is awesome! So, I just expected this one to be better. Hope someone has some impressions on here. And maybe a video. Until then, I'll probably wait as well. ImJPaul Well-Known Member May 23, 2012 840 0 16 Male MGMT! Baltimore #9 ImJPaul, Mar 31, 2016 Last edited: Mar 31, 2016 I'm diving in. But I'll have to delete things off my phone to install it, which is fine. But when an update hits, I'd have to delete it all to be able to fit the update more than likely. I'd rather just wait until the bugs are updated. On the other hand, maybe I'll just buy it on iTunes and wait to install it. The newest game is definitely brighter with more contrast in its lighting and shadows, making the ball a bit tougher to see. Here's comparisons of all 3 games. RBI 14 RBI 15 RBI 16 So yeah, RBI 16 is a bit tough on the eyes. However, I don't think this is a major problem, just something to adjust to. The reason hitting is so hard is because the framerate sucks balls. Especially compared to last year's game which was clean and crisp while still running smoothly. This year's version feels like an unoptimized port of a game from another system (which maybe it is!), not a game made for iOS. Hopefully it gets fixed! Seems like pretty much everything else is better in this year's game except that. pruppert Member May 15, 2014 6 0 0 #16 pruppert, Apr 1, 2016 Here are my thoughts. I played the prior two versions almost daily. The ball is much harder to see than previous versions. This seems to be due to the ball being smaller and framerate being worse. This is exacerbated by some contrast issues of some fields and mounds that are very bright. The joystick control is much less precise. It seems to have 2 speeds: off and super fast. There is no in-between speed for gradually nudging your batter into position. This makes batting much harder and less fun than in 2015 that had a more gradual joystick speed. This two issues (ball visibility and joystick problems) make the game less fun to play than 2015. Hopefully, they can address these issues in an update.
