Just saw this on the Top Gear website: http://www.repairacar.co.uk/delivery-driver The lowdown: Get paid a five-figure sum to drive the world's most beautiful and modern high performance cars all over Europe. I can't think of a single reason why this wouldn't be one of the most awesome jobs on the planet.
Meh. My dream job would be a Record Producer. Kind of what I am aiming to become. Long way aways though.
You can't meh at the prospect of doing 200mph+ along the autobahn blasting out tunes in the summer sun! And then getting money for it!
Shame you need a minimum of 10 years experience driving high performance vehicles. I haven't even been driving for 10 years yet. My bicycle is pretty "high performance", does that count?
Taken... wait, I can't drive. I'm sure they'll overlook that small detail amongst the plethora of quality shown in my CV.
Nah it would be cool, don't get me wrong. Especially for getting paid for pretty much nothing. But it's definitely not up there in my dream job lists hahahaha. I am not all about fancy cars though really. I'm totally not a dude in that factor. However sitting in the air conditioning helping people make tunes and hearing some of the awesome (and regratably terrible) new and old talent in the music industry, especially in the Metal Scene making 5 figure salary would be just as promising. LOL But agreed. It would be a cool job to even be able to touch those new beautiful high performance cars, let alone drive them.
2001 Dodge Grand Caravan >> 2008 Chevy Aveo >> 2010 Honda Civic Those are all high performance cars, right?
I can imagine this becoming pretty boring.. Your not racing, youre driving thousand of miles at 130kmh since this is top speed in like 99% of europe and the few miles in germany where there is no limit are not much in comparsion.. The novelity of driving an expensive car fades away soon, most of them are in no way comfy for long trips and at the end youre not better than a truck driver circling europe with his truck.. You might even have the same horsepower.. The average speed might differ by 50-60km/h but else thats pretty much the same job. Maybe just rent some 400+hp car for a weekend and be done with "the need for speed"
I saw a better job, with a pretty nice pay packet. It's looking after an island near Australia I think. You get a mansion to live in, and you get to SCUBA dive all day, checking on the animals underwater. However, it doesn't sound so great after this! Shame.
Ah, I remember that. Shame it didn't go as planned. If it had then yeah, I'd put that up near the top, right at the top if you get a bunch of fast cars with it
