What makes this better than Tweetdeck? Especially considering Tweetdeck is free and does the same thing your app does.

We think you will find it to be quite different. Quick Status is especially useful for users of both Facebook & Twitter and is geared toward status management.

Um..Exactly. Tweetdeck is for Facebook & Twitter, so both apps offer the same service but Tweetdeck is free..

Well, for one thing, this one doesn't have all those garbage incoming tweets and status updates from your friends. This way you can tell the world what's happening to you without having to sift through everyone else's junk.

If you don't want to read anyone else's updates, you tap 'mark seen' This app just doesn't seem worth it when there's a perfectly fine free alternative.

    Quick Status 1.1 Update

We have been listening to the great feedback and are pleased to announce that Quick Status 1.1 was released today with some exciting new functionality.

    Photo Sharing
We have implemented a really simple way to take a picture or select a photo to share from your photo library and very easily upload to Facebook and/or Twitter. In addition, we have made all of the great existing features accessible as add-ons to your photo message (ie. include a caption of your current location where you took the photo w/ optional map).

    Minor UI improvements

We hope you enjoy the latest update. We appreciate your continued feedback and help in making Quick Status the easiest and most enjoyable way to update your Facebook & Twitter accounts on the go!

I just wish you could upload videos to your facebook. That right there would put this application over the top.

Also, thanks for providing it for free for a limited time. I snatched this bad boy up quickly.
