I checked it on my ipod touch with iOS 6 and my short name is already sink_or_swim, not sure why it's not showing on the leaderboards. It works for me on iOS 7
You need to go into the settings on ios7 scroll down to gamecentre then profile, then sign in and you can change nickname from there.
You confused me lol, do you mean can you change your real name so that it's says sink or swim is sink or swim and not joe blogs is sink or swim? I dunno lol. I'll have a look.
I think if you turn the public profile off then it won't show your real name, laser can you confirm, does my real name show?

Urrrgh cant stand these types of games. I tried Super Hexagon as i heard so many people raving about it but i found it so frustrating. Problem is with sooo many iOS games out there, released every week and also amount of games i have on my device, if i get frustrated by a game quickly then its so easy to give up and switch to something else

K I think I figured it out In GC it lists your "Nickname" to everyone besides your GC friends. To your friends, it lists your name. This is my theory anyway. Thank you sir
Try groove vortex, it is much easier, and better ipad retina graphics and better suited for for casual play. I am liking it alot now, it just released this weekend. Also Duet game if you don't have it.
I felt the exact same way about SH. Don't give up on the genre, though. I hated SH, but Duet and Boson X are two of my favorites.

Yeah I think your theory is correct, but if you have public profile on then I could recommend you to someone else and they would see your real name etc, that's what I think the text under the settings mean.
So if you guys picked up Catch.22 today, if you could leave your honest impressions on the C.22 thread I'd really appreciate it. Also, again...is anyone using the game on ios7?
