Yeah 14px is so good, but actually I found that Mini Dash became my favorite precision platformer on IOS. Have you tried that game? --- Nice release: ArcBreaker Looks like Super Hexagon + brick breaker http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=212949
I am grabbing it now - wouldn't show up in a search on the App Store unless I specified "iPhone only", which must be a glitch because the description makes it sound Universal. Will report back, thanks for the heads up. Edit: Wow, Mini Dash is awesome. I can see why the comparison to 14px... Tilt controls and tapping, done flawlessly?! Madness! Oh, the game isn't Universal, it is one of those quirky 'retina iPhone games' that would have taken about three more lines of code to make Universal. Looks great, plays great. This is what that Moxie and whatever game should have been.
Just a heads up, it really doesnt play that well on ipad cause you have to use tilt. My opinion only of course.
Why do you have to use tilt in Mini Dash? It has a movement slider, and if you put the sensitivity up, it acts exactly like left-right buttons
First visit to this thread thanks to Cloudpuff and it definitely looks like it's going to be expensive - but damn fun! Was wondering if it would be ok to mention a new game that may fit the criteria and I'm really enjoying: Colorpickle Mark Allon ****************************************************************** ** Winner 2014 Indie Prize Award: Best Free-to-Play G… Free Buy Now Watch Media Details****************************************************************** ** Winner 2014 Indie Prize Award: Best Free-to-Play Game ** Nominated 2014 Indie Prize: Best Mobile Game ****************************************************************** ** GROW ** DARE ** LET GO ** Grow your circle to the many tunes and color schemes of the game, while avoiding the evil triangles.
