When the new version of the OS came out, I didn't pay attention to, well, anything about it. Now, since I'm planning on updating tonight, quick question, does it erase all my current data, songs, movies, etc? Pretty sure it doesn't, but just in case, since all my stuff is spread across 3 different laptops.
It didn't for me, it just downloaded the software, put my phone into something similar to the restore screens, switched out softwares, and turned back on the way it was before, only with spotlight, voice memos, and other 3.0 stuff added.
