Question about environments I have a question. Are the "outside" environments in this game also just a series of trapped-in corridors, or are there truly open areas on the map? Thanks in advance.
The outside environments are trapped-in corridors mostly but some open up to a larger chamber areas. Initially I was concerned about the corridor nature of the maps but the level designs are mazelike and well designed in a manner that encourages not hampers exploration with "hidden" items and expansive maps. The map "real estate", space, is about the same as if it were open world... it's just more comprehensive to explore around various environmental barriers, enemy ambuses, and other surprises.
Place Spoiler crystal shards on the Spoiler candle circles then once everything is there Spoiler it will open a central chamber in the room !!!!!
Not to derail the conversation, but thank you for honing in on the best aspects of early 90s RPGs and applying them to a format that is relatively accessible to everyone. What's your next project?

It's more fun to explore around and try to find them on your own but if you must know... The Spoiler four shards are located in Spoiler NorthIce , Spoiler Crimson Caves , Spoiler Insanity Dungeon , and Spoiler Swamp .
If you recall the locations you found the others in I might be able to more specific point out a destination.

The one Spoiler in the Swamp just outside citadel of Norrab is Spoiler in the last map area of the swamp dead-end , Spoiler I recall it was at an 4-way intersection. I want to say the swamp only have 3-4 tiles; Spoiler the same general area you find the quest ruin in.
Hmmmm, this is weird... Spoiler I just went to the swamp (this is Threznik swaps, right?) and I couldn't find it... Maybe it is in crimson caverns... I'll go check out that again. Thank you once again! Edit: I found it! Thank you!!!
Jewel of Theralst I am on the jewel for theralst quest, and have not been able to find the jewel in Alcazar forest. Tips would be appreciated.
point me in the right direction Was hoping I could get a pointer to progress... Spoiler I am looking for the second skull that the last quest mentions it is in the Forests of Alcazar. Not having much luck finding it... I have already completed the QuadChamber.
