Please give more details on your quests.
    You need to solve the Quad Chamber "mystery" first;
the solution should be apparent through gameplay so I don't want to ruin too much.
Do you have all the quest items,
    crystal shards
? If so drop them in the
    candle circles
    to open.

There are 4 total. I hesistat to just tell you because world exploration is one of the strengths of Questlord and you'd probably have more fun looking around. ...But if you must know
    Northice
    ,
    Swamp
    ,
    Insanity Dungeon
    ,
    Crimson Caverns
    ,
    have fun
    .

I've solved the quad chamber mystery - but I don't know what to do with the orb. I have completed 17 quests so only one remain.

    For the orb:

Drop it in front of the picture of Thelia in the art gallery. She will then give you the second skull.

    Greatsword two-handed?

    Hi all,

I've got my Plate armour and am now saving up for the Greatsword, one quick Q. Is it two-handed? I'd like to keep blasting away with Fireballs :)

    It is
outside Norrab Citadel; southwest. A few tiles west of the swap area
. If you open the large map you can see some mountains with a cave in it.

Finally played some of this last night. Good stuff! I knew I'd enjoy this as I used to love games with this style and always wanted to make one.

Anyway, I have no Q's for the experts. I'm not deep into the game at all, and will probably still save putting mega time into until later... but I wanted to chime in on how cool this game is.

    Two handed weapons?

Alternatively, does anyone know what the top weapon is in the game?

    karianna:

Luckily your QuestLord has the power of the Questening which will let him/her hold a great sword with 1 hand! sounds good right?

You are at the top weapon of the normal weapons.

Few have found though... The Flanged Mace!!!!! Which at the last hour had to become a secret weapon, along with the
    Black Metal Armor
    and the
    Rabbit
    .

When a thing is 99% perfect, the 1% becomes all I can see. Questlord has perfect 8bit graphics - totally authentic. The sound effects would be right at home in an old PC RPG as well. Then the immersion is dealt a grievous wound by modern, high res fonts. If the hi res components of Questlord could be replaced with chunky components akin to the game itself, you'd have a perfect little homage to the dawn of RPGs.

It's a carefully worded suggestion bundled into a good number of compliments. If that's trolling, count yourself lucky to have such polite and well spoken trolls.

I don't know what name to give to the complaint that the text is too legible. I agree that "trolling" isn't quite right. I might just call it idiosyncratic.

I had the same problem with this other RPG, was it Guardian Saga? Anyway, I like games most that offer a complete illusion of having come from a true, 8 bit system. P1XL, Llamasoft, Shaun Inman, etc - they go the whole nine yards. If Questlord swapped in some era appropriate fonts, I'd find it perfect.

Edit: I only mentioned it because one of Questlord's stated goals is to hearken back to the RPGs of old.
