There's a good chance it will come out Wednesday, also if they announce it it will be released later in September most likely.
i had no doubt until of the news about the defect in the cameras...cuz last year it came out the day it was announced so why do you doubt that it will this time?
Lol, I'd be pretty pissed off if they're just announcing it... Last year they released the iPod Touch 2G on the same day they announced it, so there's a high chance the same thing will happen this year.
Lol, good point you got there. But I really do hope that the camera defects are either a rumor, or they won't affect the iPod Touch 3rd Generation being sold tomorrow. (tomorrow's the 9th here in the US)
Ahh, so hopefully they fixed it so that it's ready for sale tomorrow. I'm so ready to purchase it tomorrow, and I'll be pretty upset if it isn't for sale.

I really hope Apple doesn't pull something dumb like have the 3Gs based 3rd "gen" iPod touch come only in 64GB flavor at launch (if they're even going that high in terms of storage...which, honestly, I doubt) and have the only way to get less storage be to buy a 2nd "gen". Cause, honestly...that'd be f'in silly.
