How come I see so many reviews on Apps like, "Wow this game is awesome! GREAT!" and they gave the App 1-star? I see this so many times I almost feel bad if there's enough of these that can sway the overall rating of an App unfairly (especially if it is new).
People write the app in such a rush that they don't remember to set the number of stars they want to give the app. It's annoying as hell for the devs (obviously, as you pointed out). The closet thing to a remedy would be setting the default number of stars to 3, that way, if they forget to rate it, it doesn't affect the actual rating that much.
No, it would be to set the default to nothing and require a rating to submit. So if they forget to set one, a pop-up comes up saying "Please select a start rating" or something like that.
Yeah that makes sense. I mean I see this all the time so you'd think Apple would've patched this by now -- and I'm not even a Dev. Have a lot of Dev's complained about this?
