I've yet to play but according to the devs it will have optional rules for Advanced Capture and Expert Culling.
does that mean the advance rules become available with the Quarriors! update that also includes the Quarmaggedon IAP, or does it mean you have to buy Quarmaggedon to get them?
That I don't know, although I would be surprised if they made the Advanced Culling rule expansion-only.
From their promo material it's a free update to the base game. The main game will be getting: Multiple difficulty settings for the AI The advanced rules Improved and expanded tutorial Tweaks to multiplayer The expansion IAP gets you: 40 new dice to power up a variety of monsters, heroes, and spells 26 never before seen cards powering 6 new monsters and 2 new spells Immunity ability for some creatures
I remember reading that game would become free in February to encourage purchase of the new game via IAP. Although it is now March, I'm wondering if this purchase model is still in play.
I can't remember any update that released like a new app release starting in NZ. It will pop on the appstore for everyone around the same time, some time wednesday.
So excited! Cannot wait! Ready to update and then mash the purchase expansion button!!! Then turn on advanced rules setting and never turn that off again!!!!
It shouldn't go live any time soon because it's not a release like most apps we're used to seeing. It's been approved by Apple and intentionally held back by the devs to be released on a specific day/time. I mean it's possible I'm totally wrong but I'm betting Wizkids set it to be held until normal business hours. That way they have a community manager ready for press inquiries and all that jazz.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. They want this release to be a part of their free base game event, so it seems likely they will want it to hit at peak hours, rather than slip through tonight. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong though
Yeah, makes sense, still... Lol Hoping that soon they bring universal support. Would love this game to be more portable, something to play while on a bus.
Well, I checked online and Wizkids home office is in New Jersey, so whatever time they choose will be Eastern Standard Time. At least we're not waiting for Pacific Time
This is awesome. I forgot that Quarriors had already come out for iPad, so I went to buy it today. However, not only is it free (until March 20th) but the expansion is out already!
