The article was a complete surprise.

To be quite honest, as usual, I'm not expecting this to do anything at all. There's a lot going against it, mainly that it's out just before Xmas I imagine (so reviews/coverage/apple features are probably less likely).

Which is why the article was a lovely surprise! I haven't even written to any press about the game yet!

Just goes to show the TA overlords watch over these forums and listen to what you think!

I'll tell you with hand on sheepy heart that the feedback from people like yourself and others here who've seen screenshots, watched the vid or actually played the game (as testers) has really surprised me!

Mainly because I made the game for a gamejam and, as I mentioned, fell in love with it a little so wanted to expand on the idea.

While making it I thought it would only appeal to me, and that was ok. But people have been very kind and positive about the game.

Just a quick update for you all!

A few minutes ago, the game went from 'Waiting for review' to 'In review' at Apple:



This is the essential and nerve wracking part of the process where I ask all of you to do sheepy rain dances to help the game through the review process.

Nudity is not compulsory!

Your game's out on probably the same day isn't it? :O

I spent the day playing board games today - not sure if any of you are into those, but I can certainly recommend King of Tokyo, Splendour, Braggart, Love Letter and Risk Legacy!

It's been a long day, so I'll leave it there - I'll post more screenshots tomorrow!

I come bringing good news and (potentially!) bad news!

First, the good news!

The game has passed review - it's now up to me to release the game (manually, on Thursday morning, about 8am UK time)

So that's good! Yay!

The potentially bad news is this:



After the hassle of GC on SOS, I'm very nervous about this. I'm hoping that it's just because the game isn't out yet!

I mean, it's logging in to GC (which SOS didn't do at first) so that's a step in the right direction.

Also, it worked fine in testing.

So we'll see I guess!

*fingers toes and eyes crossed*

Thursday will be busy - right after I press 'GO' on iTunes for the game's release, I have to go into iTunes Connect and upload all the screenshots!

I didn't anticipate Apple being so quick to review the game, so got caught with my wool down :O
