1) The stars is your base fire power level. You can get more by purchasing the Module A upgrade: It is a permanent upgrade. 2) Some cargo, or boss drop shadow mech part. It is random, and only occurs once a game is started. Basically, the more you play, the more you get collected. 3) Coin doubler is planned in the 1.1 Arena Update, but here a hints, if you don't play after a while, you will get some notification around 7pm your time zone, with some offer. On of them is coin doubler (there are a dozen of promo, it is also based how much you are involved in the game as well). 4) Blue orbs are just score bonus. They also increase the blue bar. PS: Yes story mode will be added after the 1.1 Arena Update (1.2 Story Update this summer). We have cutscenes already done, but we didn't complete lack of time, and you know, we had to manage lot of thing in the game like you've noticed.
The player has two power bars : The firepower bar and special ability bar. When the player fire on enemies, it rises the firepower bar, which level up your firepower : so more you fire on enemies, the more your level up. The maximum level up is depending of your experience level. The second bar is being increased when receiving damage, or firing on bosses only. If you bar is ⅓ filled, you can use that bar for a boost, else you can engage the super power attack.
Have to advise that you should never do a "soft launch" with paying customers. It's a sure fire way to lose business going forward. It's one thing to have some small bugs not caught in testing but the issues with this are alpha level problems IMO. And the fact that things aren't explained well means people like myself have wasted hours playing and spending currency on things we shouldn't have. It's hard for me to want to get back into the game after this experience. You just can't ask people to spend time and money and feel like it was all for nothing but frustration. Imagine all the people who aren't active on this forum who don't even have any clue of what's happening.

Just saw the review on the front page. How the hell did Chris Carter play this game through to the end? Is he a miracle worker who can slide past all the crashes and graphical issues? Barely a single negative in the review in what I feel is a complete mess of a game.
I'm talking to the devs yet again on twitter. The new update has not fixed Stage 4 wave 4. It's stuttering and then freezing but in the background you can still hear the game still playing. So it's as if the graphics just stopped working. The IAP of the game is messed up. Two of the options are the SAME price but give DIFFERENT amounts of credits. Also they only offer more expensive options than previously. I don't even get it. The only positive is they added a button to change your weapon. Which is actually good and it works. I really like that. If they can get the crashing sorted I'd love the shit out of this damn game. Billy
I'm sure I'd love it too but they should also compensate us for being glorified beta testers. Don't know too many people that would willfully pay to test a game.

An update 1.0.9 is being reissued (the game had problem with Metal renderer again). It has FINALLY be fixed, after hard work. Simply we didn't retry with iOS 10.3 .
Geez...if anthony78 gets credited in the game (or another form of compensation) for purchasing it earlier on, then others should be treated similarly, especially if we bought this on Day One and had to deal with what had been considered a paid beta. What do you say devs? Can of worms?

So why shouldn't we all get some form of credits then? Sure they could do it in an update rather than individual codes. And for the record, I did buy it day one. Yes, I did get the 25,000 but spent it not knowing what was permanent, etc. I don't just go around begging for free stuff but just feel like we have been testing a game that shouldn't have been released as it was.
They are trying guys. I've been working with them on twitter to pin point all of the problems and get them fixed. They really are trying. They are good guys. Like I said they've made some other fantastic games. This one will be good once it gets ironed out. I understand the frustration. I got really frustrated myself yesterday. But after talking with them for hours I can honestly say they are trying. I like this game and want to see it succeed. I can't wait to see the story mode. Oh and devs can you please put in a button to change drones also? I had 3 machine gun drones and accidentally picked up a cruise drone during a boss fight that I didn't want at that point. The weapon switch button is perfect. Please add a drone switcher as well. Oh and I haven't received any coins or anything although I was told I could have my name in the credits. Just so everyone knows the deal. Billy
1.0.9 update and shop Hello; - Drone switcher will be added in the 1.1 (weapon was indeed important) : It will be same button. - There will be the 'Defensive' mode, using the Blue Bar linked to a new button on the right. - An update 1.0.9 with more stability fix should be released today (thanks for LordShad0wz, he will get his name in the credits, (Error due an exception in Metal renderer, was finally fixed one for once (only appeared in distribution final build). It fixes also other place when corruption screen occurs. - There are indeed 3 packs with 3 offers: no price reduction, 30% off , 70% off But it is not clear when store promotion occurs in the interface : we will address that with a redesigned shop.
Just so everyone knows. I'm playing the newest test flight build and the graphics issues and crashes are gone. It's smooth sailing so far. I started a new game and have made it way way past stage 4 beating all waves, into stage 5 and there hasn't been a single issue! So I think they got it this time. The boss fights get pretty damn intense later on lol. I've come within 2% of dying twice. Even with my fully upgraded shadow mech and 3 machine gun drones. Billy
Sorry, saw it earlier but was a little busy... =o/ Anyway... Great to hear that the developers are totally committed to getting this game running at its full potential. So many other devs just release buggy games and never fix them because of poor sales or other issues... It's... Always nice to see developers who are focused. Even more so when they're active in the TA community. I haven't deleted it yet, but am excited to pick it back up again after they get everything ironed out. I remember LOVING No Gravity... I might have to reinstall that while I wait... It was one of the first games I got way back in the day... Dunno how they got it to run on a 2nd gen touch... But they did... Total confidence that they'll figure this one out.
Oops I spoke too soon I just found a bug hehehe. One of the bosses won't die. That's an easy fix. The boss just keeps screaming in pain and throwing out credits and orbs lol I tell ya the bosses after stage 4 get cooler and cooler. I'm sending a report to the devs with a picture of the boss so they can fix it. I'm not posting it here because I don't want to give away spoilers. They put a lot of artwork into this. I finally purchased the last mech I didn't have. The Blue one. Man that's a rough mech. I'd say out of all of them it is the weakest in every respect except movement. You have to REALLY keep moving and really watch out for enemy explosions and kamikazes. I barely made it to the squid and that's with most of the upgrades. I'm so used to playing with the shadow, grey, and tank mecha lol. The weapons on the blue mech are the weakest as well. I'd say leave that mech for last. I'm glad I did. Billy
