What happened? I thought that quake was supposed to show in the app stores "in a few days", a statement made on Nov. 1st....7 days is a little past a few days. Did they mean a few weeks? C'MON!!!! BRING IT ON!!!! I'M READY TO KILL!!!!!!!!!

Or ready to complain about the controls etc etc, framerate issues, yadda yadda yadda.

Just kidding though, I hope it's as good as everyone's hoping, we need a good break-in game into the fps genre already, just to show it can be done. :D

I think they will be a large competition against the FPS based games...
Which is the best, cheapest, better handling, better graphics, better weapons, better multiplay,...

    Could be fun ^^

apple seems to release applications based upon compeition sometimes

so it may have approved Quake, but it will release Quake when Cube, and quite possibly one more competitor is ready to be released

they have done that to a few types of games/apps
    so i wouldn't be surprised

Only id can release Quake for the iPhone...nobody else has the rights to it. They released the source code to the engine, but that only means you can make and distribute a port of the engine, not the graphics, sounds, models, etc. So unless id gets behind it, no Quake for iPhone.

    Honestly

I check this site have 5 seconds just because I'm so excited by Quake coming out. But I am getting a bit worried as it's been over a week of nothing.

If the developer's reading this, can you comment?
