They should be there when you start the game after you updated. As long as you've passed 200 feet.

Ah that makes sense. I haven't gotten there yet. I'm pretty terrible at this game. ^^

    Great game though.

You'll get better, especially when you get more masteries and put money into upgrades. Also I earned enough money to get CY the healing robot and he helps a lot, plus bingo is still there with you- so then you have 2 pets basically. And yep the game rocks!

Speaking of rocks- Grubby do you know what my favorite band is called? They're called STFU and they're definitly the best! ;) ha ha

Oh wow, I thought the new pets replaced Bingo... great to hear that you get two. Has anyone unlocked any of the other pets? Seems like the healing from Cy would be hard to beat.

I just hit 500 meters for the first time a few minutes ago. Of course I died to Pete... did someone say you could get out of range of his laser attach? I ran to the edge of the board and still got hit, how far do you have to go?

Really been enjoying this on iPad...then installed on iPhone and realized the Orb Doubler requires consumable coins to be purchased again.

That's a real slap in the face after supporting the devs with an IAP buy. Doublers are invariably non-consumable, and I didn't consider the implication of the indirect purchase.

I realize that much was my fault, but I still feel a little screwed here by the variation from the standard. I can't bring myself to pay twice after feeling deceived, and now playing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Bad form, Butterscotch. I was an unqualified fan until this.

I just hit my personal best of 620 (after reviving) on normal mode. It gets REAL intense!!!

The way I dodge his laser is to be close to him, and just circle around him. You'll move faster than him. If you aren't faster than his laser, upgrade your agility. I have 4 agility upgrades and had no problem getting out of his way.

I got the one for 45,000 - Bukkitt I believe - and his explosive attacks knock loads off enemies off the board, plus with him and bingo it's like I don't even need to attack! Still yet to beat 770m though...

Hey guys I just had a decent run and unlocked the healing pet. Jury is still out if that was worth it or not. Add me on GC Amenbrother!!

EDIT: Hey slammajamma where did u get the GC motto from? We say it at my work so I was just curious.

I unlocked Bukkit as well last night. I'm using him now to help unlock the mastery for knocking enemies off ledges, which he is really helpful for.

My only gripe is that he has a tendency to throw the buckets behind the enemies, which causes them to fly towards your character instead of away. This usually causes them to die/get injured when they hit your character, but it can be kinda annoying if you want breathing room.

I'm about 30k towards the 60 I need for the last pet. Other than that I'm totally done with upgrades now

Quick question though: Regarding the Economist mastery, what do they mean by "special enemies" in the Bone Dust perk? Do they mean enemies with a name, or something else? Is that choice a better perk than the One Percent which gives you 20% double orbs randomly?

I think the special enemies are the palette-swapped versions of the regular enemies, like the green orb fish and the blue sharks.

The super-sized enemies with names are the Bosses (which factors into that one item which recovers half your HP for beating a boss).

It's Boss! I'm still trying to kill Pete at 500 m.

Had a really great run (aside from a green portal at around 880m which caused me to use up my resurrect) and got all the way to 1000m, and got Pete down to 4%. He is really a lot easier to beat once you get agility leveled up and just keep flying around the stage with the dodge button.

I died at 4% but next run, Pete will be no more!

I bought the last pet which is pretty cool, now I'm out of stuff to buy. I guess I'll spend my money on in-game artifacts and doubloons? Should make it easier to get deeper.'

Edit: While we're on the subject, am I correct in assuming that Green Portals, aside from the different-colored level, contain generally harder (usually the color-swapped "special" enemies, I've noticed) enemies? Do they also have a higher chance for weapon drops/artifact or shop spawns?

I don't think the enemies are harder.

But I always avoid the green portals and go to the red ones, simple because the visuals in the green portals are bizzare and can throw me off track. Red portals have more conservative colors et al.

    HEY. GEOELECTRIC.

Sorry about that, unfortunately our tech makes it so that allowing restored purchases will cause the game to crash and occasionally corrupt the save file. You're damn right that it'd be better form for us to do it, but unfortunately it's beyond our capacity at this point given the potential risks.

If you still feel as though you've been bludgeoned by greedy devs, just shoot me a note at the [email protected] address and I can refund your original purchase, no harm nor foul. We're only 8 months into this adventure as a 2 man studio, so we'll have kinks to work out and definitely want to keep the communication lines open going forward.

YOU...YOU BEAT MY PERSONAL BEST. 1,630. Monstrous.

Thanks for playing and supporting us. I'll be back soon to give you upcoming patch details :O
