Hey, it is cool how you fixed your mistake and made it so that your opinion has to be backed up to officially be on the list. This whole conflict could have been avoided if you just put games you liked as suggestions, instead of adding them into the list outright. But I get your system, 2 votes needed to get on the list is...Interesting. I doubt it will work though, but that's just me. I like the idea of a personalized list, obviously it would satisfy those with different opinions. Personally I think it would be cool if TA did like Games of the Year- Fan Picks or something. Their list is probably better thought out than anyone's, but it is impossible to please with so many good games. Thread title should be changed back to normal. You owed up to your mistake, seeing mods change thread titles on personal whim is a scary thought...Negativity is never cool. My suggestions, for Match 3 Piyo Blocks 2 is a must. Plethora of modes and online play, graphics etc. I back up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Yeah, it is a port, but it is done exceptionally well and I wouldn't want anyone who doesn't have a DS to miss it. Casual: Spirit. Beautiful game and added pulse mode makes it amazing.
yeah why not, I have both of those 2, they're good enough to recommend to people..at least to TD gamers.
Woo TheProxy thanks you are the first that understand me. I can admit I flawed it all on the start and well I won't hope much anymore. Anyway I knew on the start I wasn't well placed to do that (too many fans haters!). I do agree that it's perhaps something to try next year but more leaded by TA. Mmm that's a little tedious, there are other TD I enjoyed and would advice but not up to add them in a best TD list of 2010. Anyway I suppose I have to add them anyway as your suggestion (despite it seems tedious), but will add them in OP when there will be a backup (could be me later). I know I should have done it for the other TD too already in OP. I consider now you backup them all. Well I'll change if there are complain.
well are you trying to create a list of elite games or ones that are just newer and good enough to recommend? I wouldn't say those 2 are as good as Sentinel 3 for example but they're worth checking out and playing. And they both have good overall ratings in the store. Bloons TD 4 is popular as well.
I would prefer avoid to add a game that someone quote good enough for the pick because he thinks someone else will quote it good enough. Sure at ends there will be many games like that if enough people contribute but for the addition in the list it's better avoid such mechanism. So if you want contribute just give me your list of 2010 TD you think very worthy to be played, and no matter if its for elite gamer or not, if you are an elite TD gamer that's your choice to add in your list elite TD games. Also no matter if you think there's only Sentinel 3 that worth it or if there's more, just throw here your list (and thanks). And I'll add those someone backup (most possibly me) and will remove all those I added at start of the thread and not yet backup by someone else.
Ok I cleaned OP, removed all suggestions not already backup by a second advice. I also added the last additions. And I put in second post of the thread the games currently suggested by only one gamer.
ohh man, your first TD list was my favorite list of newer TD games, you shoulda left it. Other than the ones you first listed my other favorite iphone TDs are from before 2010.
Just curious what are your favorites TD released before 2010? I have almost all TD released on iPhone and iPad (really!) but I'm far to have find yet the time to play them all.
ElementalMonster TD, Sentinel 1+2, The Creeps, Ninja TD, Besiegement are my faves amongst the older ones. Other older good ones are 7 Cities, Dungeon Defense, Bloons TD, GeoDefense, Sweetwater Defense.
Cool, for me too The Creeps iPhone version is a TD favorite, and among those past 2010 there's also Defender Chronicles (even if it is too hard for me), and BioArmy. Besiegement is a good candidate for I add it in my favorites I need play it more. But the point is there's many I haven't played yet in fact all you list but Sentinel 1-2, Bloons TD and those I mentioned above. Among 2010 release there's one among those I quoted that I haven't played yet despite it appealed me after to have tried the demo, it's Starfall HD or Starfall TD. At some points players requested some fixes and this made me gave up but that's probably fixed now.
yeah I definitely recommend you try ElementalMonster TD if you haven't yet. And FieldRunners would also be added to the best of the older ones.
Yes I expect a lot from those two and few other. I'm playing currently Defense Grid, it's a PC/Mac game. It's just a solid tower defense game with detailed 3D, an effort put on story that is stronger than usual in TD. it is using fixed placements and mix of path and open area, plus an amusing system of core items that enemies should take and bring to exit. Apart the polishing and production value and few design points, it is quite standard, but the whole is so well done and the level design quite good so it ends to be a quite great TD. I really advise it for those that play on PC/Mac. Objectively there's quite many iPhone/iPad TD more expert or more originals but it has a surprising good overall value. The PC version is currently on sales on Steam (4.49 so probably $4.49) and it is also on available on online.com at a very cheap price for a full version with all addon and unlimited use, something like $2.3, alas I couldn't use that in Europe. The Mac version is quite more recent so cost a lot more and doesn't have the addon and will probably never.
