Today I received an email from the creator of Pzizz. a semi famous application that creates a semi random relaxing audiotrack. Its amazingly good, I've been using it for a couple of years, and it really helps you achieve a better and deeper sleep, as well as short energizing naps.

    in the mail he says:

=> PZIZZ FOR iPHONE IS HERE!

The first module of pzizz has just been accepted by Apple -
and is available for purchase in the iTunes App Store!

To get hold of it, simply go to the iTunes Store and search
for "pzizz relax" in the search box in the top right hand corner
    of your screen.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    => WHAT DOES IT DO?

It's the iPhone / iPod Touch version of the 'energizer' module -
capable of creating more than 100 billion unique soundtracks.

    Relax. De-Stress. Re-Energize!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

=> HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

When I conducted the survey, more than 75% of the 2,500 who
responded said that they would be happy to pay $19.95 or above
    per module.

However, given the global economic problems, Matthew and I
decided that we wanted to make pzizz available for everyone -
we think the world needs a pzizz.

We've therefore priced it at the same price as the other so-called
'apps' that only play a single relaxation track!

So, "pzizz relax" costs just $2.99

I'll be testing it and reporting for you, since I paid almost 50 usd, for the desktop edition 2.99 is quite cheap.

Ok being as I am a huge fan of Pzizz i went ahead and bought the thing.

sadly my ISP is really ****ing horrible and my 8mbit connection slows to a whooping 50kbit at night. So I'll test this tomorrow.

What I Can say is this:

this is the relax module, probably they'll release the sleep one for another 3usd.

this module is for doing short naps.

If this works nearly as good as the desktop version it should be a must buy.
I say go and download de demo, I can probably lend you a serial so you can try out the desktop version,

Ok, finally the big download finished (94MB).

as i said before, this module is designed for short naps, you've got the same settings as in the desktop version.
you chose, the time you wish to nap (25-30 mins) works best. then select guidance voice on or off or just intro and wakeup sequence, you might choose 3d echo effect that works really well with headphones.

    so how does it work?

I can say it works well, just as well as the desktop version, I've been carrying some tracks created in my desktop, the problem with this is the sequence us always the same, so it stops being as effective. so being able to create a new track every time, with subtle differences. really help.

I really recommend you get this, and try it. I use it as a short afternoon nap a 25 mins after lunch, will leave you with more energy for those slow summer evenings of work or study.

    good app.

I never sleep during the day and still find it hard to sleep at nights. Could this be any help for me there? I dont want to start taking sleeping pills but looks like they `d be the only solution for me. :(

    At 2.99, I think I`ll give it a try.

yeah the sleep version does wonders for imsomnia, I actually purchased the desktop version, one day i couldn't sleep.

If you have any kind of sound system on your desktop computer I'd recomend you give it a try. the software allows for teh computer to sleep or shoutdown after the cycle.

still having problems to sleep at night could be linked to many things, so you should try before you purchase. you might want to check with an odontholist if you have bitting issues, since that helped me too.

Still the napping module is by far what I use the most, in fact I like to wake 30mins earlier and do a small nap before getting up, I've found it helps me start the day feeling better.

go to the web and download the demo. there are "lots of ways" to find usable keys for the different modules.
