    Our new designed framework of playing notes is very suitable for handling the mechanism of "go with the notes, instead of the rhythm" which is mentioned above. We'll consider this suggestion seriously. Maybe we shall provide different modes for different players (Players always have different preferences.)

    So I finished all the quests, played a bit of rogue and played two survival levels:

    My final verdict is: pretty good with a lot of room for improvements!

    The game looks alright, even though it does not feel very sharp, there are other pixel-esque games, that do look better but it works for what it is.

    The update fixed the biggest issues for me: rhythm is matching the song now, the reduction in lanes improved the controls and handling by a whole lot and some extra missions are always a good thing to have.

    My issue whit the game is a lack of content though. I can see myself running out and only be left with a pretty long rogue (endless) mode afterwards. I would really like an endless mode with upgrades of rogue but with a similar speed of survival. The music does get very repetitive and for me personally a bit annoying, as I do not like this kind of music very much. That's personal preference though.

    I would really like modern music with this kind of gameplay and a deeper customization system for my knights. Equipment, stats etc would be good.

    I also feel the need for screen rotation (180 degree) so I can have my charge cable on top while playing, so it does he bend/damaged.

    Also no leaderboards (?) and no iCloud/Game Center backup. That's huge! Please patch it in.

    Lastly the health bar of the boss is totally misplaced. I rarely find time to look at it as I need to stay focused at the bottom. I would love a. Enter solution for that so I can keep my focus on the bottom of the screen but also an eye on the health bar.

    Overall a fun game for fans of music rhythm games :) 99cent is s good price for it and the dev proofed with the update, that they do car about feedback and fix stuff and up so that's another +.

    Our comment: Thanks a lot for your support first.

    Our comment: Yes, we reconstruct the whole music/rhythm framework for further improvements and new features. All the songs are performed in real-time but not the preinstalled BGM mp3 files. We only store the music scores in game, and by using single separated notes mp3 files to perform the music in real-time. Right now, each score has 4 tracks in it (3 normal music tracks and 1 drum track). We could extend them to more tracks easily if needed, for a better melody experience.

    Our comment: We'll add more different types of music scores in game, maybe we could add new function to let players select his/her favourite music in game.
    And actually, we already have a plan to provide MOD feature in game, to let players produce music by himself/herself. Below is the prototype of our MOD design, players can create and edit (DIY) music/levels. The UI is a little bit like the iOS version of GarageBand.

    Through the adjustment of framework, the music and rhythm could be adjusted by the movement speed of enemies, slower or faster.

    We'll release this feature in V2.1.0 next week. Please stay tuned.

    So I just finished all missions and played rogue again 2 more things:

    - leaderboards for rogues are missing
    - i really, really enjoyed the one finger tapping of survival. I would really like this for a second rogue mode as well, would also go much better for phones I guess.

    Enjoyed the game and "finished" it now (3 starring everything is not mine anymore) with top 10% consistently. Looking forward to the update and more content.

    Edit: oh Yeah one more thing that I mentioned before for the boss' life: would be nice if the combo counter would be visible at the bottom as well.

    1. Yes, we'll integrate GameCenter's leaderboard in further updates.
    2. We'll consider the suggestion of "One finger tapping style for rogue mode".
