Sadly, very few people seem to be playing this game, and even fewer are interested in a walkthrough, so I stopped making them.
Just got level 140, I am so good ha ha, I am not giving it away, just want to say keep the snake left or is that too much.
Just saw the game update. Has the developer commented that the game's sale has been below expectation? I don't recall reading about this news elsewhere. Clearly, the developer has pushed out two back-to-back updates and is still very vested in promoting the game.
There are only 1450 people on Gamecenter that is how I know it, it's sad really, but the games I like are mostly for a minority and for people with good taste he he.
Just finished v1.2 update (150 levels). Very impressed by how much more difficult these puzzles were compared to those in the original. Agree that 136 and 140 were among the trickiest ones. I like the snake mechanic a lot, especially when it is partially crush in clever ways so the remains can be used as blocks to position certain candy pieces.
Just finished the game too, for me this is pure puzzle fun, it can't get better than this can't say it enough.
Yeah, the new content was so good, I couldn't help but gush about it in a YouTube video that I'm calling a review, even thought it's just a lot of gushing. The new content is just ridiculously clever. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Great review Appunwrapper watched it through till the end, a lot of developers can learn from this game, it's on one hand so simple but on the other it's a masterpiece in every aspect.
Thanks for watching and glad you liked it. Yeah, it's up there with Telepaint for me, although this one is even more my speed in some ways.
Love your review, AppUnwrapper. You should consider doing this as part of a review/walkthrough combo for games you write about on your site.
Hi again everyone, Awesome review AppUnwrapper! Hey y2kmp3, I wanted to comment on this honestly. Long and the short; it hasn't sold as much as I would have liked. It's a somewhat niche title of course, but as a solo developer I didn't exactly need to sell that many copies to keep the lights on. Still the fact remains it could have done better. The reception has been great though! As for updates, I wanted to keep rolling some levels out as they are the easiest for me to make. I'd still like to get the optimal moves in there somehow, but I'm focused on Android and possibly a Steam release soon-ish to open the game up to more people. This will hopefully help sell more copies, and allow me to make more games on my own terms. I appreciate all the positive comments, support, etc. as usual. It's fantastic to see everyone enjoying the new content.
