I'm new to this game and currently at Rank 10. Just a few questions if any of you are kind enough to help me Do we have a limit for friends? And I'm also thinking what is the best way to spend the Magic Stones since I don't donate and are heavily dependent on clearing dungeons for the stones. Is using the Rare Egg Machine the best way to spend the stones? Or should I expand my Monster Box? And there are also monsters that do not evolve right? When I enter the Evo Fusion, they list the material needed for the evo, however for certain monsters, materials are not listed, but they indicate that the evolved form has stronger stats. Do advice me on this. And is Siren rare? I've got it during the tutorial stage and I think it's really useful due to the Leader skill. My ID: 391,838,283
u got siren at the tutorial stage? u got to be kidding me... i try to farm her at voice of the siren dungeon for about 45 times ((( your questions: yes you do have a limit of friends, but as you rank up you can have more friends my first stones all went into my monster box, because you NEED some space for your monsters, evo materials and so on... when you feel comfortabel (at your stage) with i think about 60 slots, you can also try your luck with an egg (have a look at those egg events). is a monster (evolved form) or a material is not listed, this only means you havent seen it ingame.
Thanks CoRex! That was really helpful. I restarted the tutorial a few times and was quite happy when I got Siren. I attempted another Egg Machine and got a Golem that is Light elemental. Quite a lousy draw. Anyways, I've tried the Thursday dungeon which appeared to be the easiest but died so quickly. None of the special dungeons I could actually clear. Perhaps, I need to level more. But my team is pretty lousy at the moment. Just that Siren's heal was so useful that sustained me throughout my battles.
Noticing a few things. In the Japanese version, you are doing EXTREMELY well for yourself. How long did it take you to get all those monsters and reach that rank? By the way, do I see a level 84 Orochi? I thought leveling up Orochi was a bad idea?
ood news!! Information of new version Now the official twitter of P&D(JP) have published new monsters for next version. The Egyptian gods will land in P&D. Also the starter monster will be available to be evolved to six star. The more monsters that will have further form are include vampier lord, 5 color demons etc. here are the pictures. PS: due to 4.3 is a collaborate product with SQUARE ENIX, I think US version will skip this version to the next version.
I have said that I played the game for 8 months. Sure, you saw my orochi was level 84. But, how many orochi have you seen in my monster box? Btw, I don't need zombie team any more at my stage. Have you seen my Zeus? I can build Zeus 9x team, 18x, 27x right now. All dungeons for me can be broken more easily.
do you have some news, when the US version get some upgrades? or is there a good site for infos? (i am already at the FB site). and may i ask you, if you have used IAP in your JAP acc?

Wait, skip a version? So US players like me are going to be missing out on some great monsters? I hope not. I don't want to feel like a a frustrated PS3 Skyrim player.
This game is amazing, but for a non iAP player, I'm not sure if I am able to get all the godly monsters or even monsters that have decent stats. It seems a little farfetched to even think of owning another Super Rare monster. I really hope someone can advice me on which is the best special dungeon to grind. I'm rank 14 at the moment.
Howdy, I love this game. I don't understand quite a lot but something about just grabs me. Anyway, I have a couple questions... 1. I have a few Metal Dragons and a Gold Dragon. The gold one seems to worth a lot even though it appears weak and not rare. What do you recommend doing with these dragons? 2. I am confused with how to Evolve my creatures. I have other creatures that are labeled as "Evo material" but the only ones that appear to actually evolve a maxed out creature are those marshmallow-looking creatures whose names end with "-lit". Can someone explain what Evo materials creatures are and how evolving works in general? 3. Lastly, other than getting five of those marshmallow dudes in one of today's dungeons, how do you find them? Do you just randomly find them in dungeons or are there specific dungeons you can look for them in? Thanks so much!
Unfortunately, every question you have asked is within the 120 pages of this thread I'm on my cellphone so I won't be able to type a lengthy reply. Despite this thread being very long, it's a fantastic resource for a new player. If you read it from start to finish, you will learn a tremendous amount of information.
@gungho I want to suggest an enhancement I was battling the boss of the first technical dungeon, both the boss and I were extremely low on HP. It was my last shot to come back with four Pengdras. On my course to execute the combos I had planned I got the Iphone 20% battery notification!! You can imagine the rest. I couldn't complete the combos because the game lost the focus and I got killed !! :-( Not sure what can be done to avoid this issue but you bet I am going to watch my battery gauge from now on.
oh oh.... i know that feeling very well... some days ago my "alarm" killed me so those heads up notifications are HORROR for a puzzle & dragons player who can BARELY handle the dungeon... for those who run through easily, no problem... but for us its a pain in the ass

Ive been playing Puzzle and dragons for a while now, its quite addicting but im getting to the point where my team just doesnt cut it anymore. I dont have any rare monsters except tyrannos and toytops, how do i get better ones without buying magic eggs?? My team consists of a lvl 25 ice ogre(#65), lvl 25 white knight(#75), lvl 20 dark knight(#77), lvl 29 tyrannos(#3), lvl 22 toytops(#295) If anyone could provide some tips on how to get a few decent monsters thatd be great, and also if someone could explain how you farm the rare monsters, thanks.
I kinda figured they were all asked before but 120 pages is admittedly a lot of content to go through... I did find that the gold and metal dragons are simply used to feed light and dark creatures... but the Gold one seems to yield much $ if you sell it that I wanted to be absolutely certain. Also, one of the News pop-ups said something about the gold dragon being the rarest monster in the game and I was under the impression that I actually had one of these things. Seeing as how the gold dragon I have is simply used to fuse to light creatures I assume it's not the same thing...
