Okay, I'm rank 104 and I haven't spent any money on this game. They do tend to find many reasons to throw magic stones at you for free, as long as you keep logging in. I've gotten six in the last six days because of this weird "Poring" tower appearance which pits you against a bunch of happy-looking blobs that are apparently strong as all hell. Anyway... Does anybody know if there's a limit to the star level that can be dropped from a battle? For instance, I defeated the master level of the "Poring" tower and had a drop from the Mastering boss that turned out to just be a Poring. Just recently, I had a drop after defeating a Flowerdragon Brachys that turned out to be just a sad little Brachio. What's going on? Is it possible to get a good, evolved monster from battling or is the yellow dragon that poops eggs from its stomach after being fed five gems and having its arm yanked the only way to go?
Some of the high level descended dungeons (hera descended, legendary thief, etc) drop actual gods. Otherwise you occasionally get some gold eggs but most are evo materials. It's much more common to get the unevolved form of whatever you are fighting and you have to evolve it.... and most of the really good stuff (gods etc) require the REM. So just save up your free stones and do the REM during a godfest. I'm in the mid 100's rank and haven't spent a penny.... and have 3 gods out of the REM... and a couple heras from the descended dungeon. It's very doable... but I agree this game can bleed you dry if you let it. Don't let it....
Thanks for the info. I do have a Lightning Archdemon Baal, Awoken Odin, Amaterasu Ohkami, and War Deity Dark Minerva all thanks to the REM. The game is fantastic, but it's a shame it's a game based highly on luck instead of skill.
Well, I still love this game and there are a wealth of good websites out there with plenty of information on how to get the best from this game, even without IAP, which is the route I'm going. At the last Godfest I literally rolled and re-rolled over two days and finally pulled a Great Valkyrie which was then complimented by another Valkyrie on the next roll a few levels in. Dream start! This has been supplemented by Fuma Kotaro (ok'ish) a super king metal dragon dropped from the PAL machine....amazing value at 1 cost, also farmed Echidna which means I'm working on an all Healer team. I'm currently rank 40 and working through the castle of satan and farming for Siren and Lillith when possible. Stick it out.....it's a very deep game and wait for those godfests and just keep re-rolling until you get that great starter.
