2 quick questions: are rare Evo materials actually used for evolving? Or for something else? I'm talking about metal and gold dragons. Secondly, one of my guys has a blinking 1 at the bottom of it. What's the significance of this?
@nosup4crr: Metal dragons are exclusively for leveling up. They give experience commensurate with their rarity. Gold dragons are for making money; like metal dragons, the amount of gold you get from them depends on how rare they are. A glowing egg with a plus sign is a booster. If you check the monster's stats, you'll find it has a separate bonus, either to HP, ATK or RCV. If you use the monster to level up another, its bonus will transfer to the base monster. It was implemented primarily for monsters who are already at max level as a way for them to continue powering up. As a rule of thumb, I give +ATK to monsters with poison or other direct damage skills, +RCV to healers, and +HP to anyone who spends significant time on my team.

Back 5, I remember that you have a No.231 Ancient Stone Knight, am I right? So maybe another strategy for you is to use it as leader and put as many Dragon type monster in your team.
Can someone tell me a easy to to farm emlites *the orb holding fairy*, the dungeon that has them cost 3 or 5 stam, and they are rare in the dungeon. When they do appear they never drop egg, its always other crap that drops. Do people just spam $ for stam refill to farm these?
blah i got a cool 5 star monster, no. 380 beast rider, but it starts off at lvl 1, kinda makes it worthless
@Spite: Patience is really the only answer. The drop rate is indeed low in the regular dungeons, but just sell everything else you get on the run. It does add up over time. The stamina cost isn't so high as to be prohibitive either, so if you get bored go to another dungeon.. And don't forget about your rank; you earn that with every run too, and as that increases, so does your stamina and team cost limit! It may be slow and you might not be getting what you want, but you are benefitting in the long run. Your only other option is to wait til Friday for the special dungeon, which will give you a higher chance, but no guarantee, of the drops you want.
So glad I found this forum! Loving this game thus far, even though I'm having issues (to put it nicely) getting past the last level of Tower of Giants. I'll get there eventually, I'm sure. Reading previous posts, I realized I never sent my level 20 gift, so am looking for someone else to trade gifts with to maximize our chances. Game ID is 310,031,282. I evolved my Ice Ogre to Blazing Ice Ogre only to find that there's no SKL. Then I realised that it's only available in Ver 4.3....... I hope the US version get updated soon...
Anyone can tell me how they beat the tuesday dungeon? According to the wiki, the guards hit 12k+ and have 800k+ hp.
What's the most likely way new players come across magic gems? Is it a future login bonus? I'm getting one-shotted by the boss at the end of the tower of giants (even with lvl 30 helpers). But I'm stuck using pretty subpar dragons. I've evolved up to a lvl 10 tyrranos. I have a 3 star black and blue knight, a lvl 10 Titan, and unfortnately, a lvl 15 emerald carbuncle. Am I just stuck in a power up grind for a bit?
I've played 20+ metal dragon levels now and I've come out with, perhaps, one king dragon for every four or five runs. I get one of the middle-range dragons about every other run. It seems like you've just hit a patch of bad luck. I've come out pretty poorly across my last four runs as well. Once you know when it appears, you can anticipate the next appearance five hours from that point. Depending on your friend ID you'll be on one of a handful of different timelines. Nope. Which makes sense. Cheating would be a problem. As far as I know the sources for magic gems include clearing sets of dungeons and yes, there is a login bonus. I believe it is 3 stones for 10 days, with others taking place every 30 or 50 levels ranging between 3, 5, and 10 stones (based on the JP version of the game, from what I've read). It sounds like you could definitely stand to improve your party a little. If you're stuck on a specific dungeon you can try to get an extra character or helper of an element which will help. If a boss is one-hitting you, it helps a lot to have a leader or helper which provides damage mitigation against the element you are being wiped out by. If you have access to a helper like Siren you can make sure you have enough HP to survive the blow and work on recovery and damage between hits.
Did you use all your gems to increase your monster box? If you didn't, judging by the progress you have made in the game, you should be able to do at least two rare egg pulls for strong monsters. Also, if you have reached level 20 you should be able to trade presents with another player and both of you can get two dragons of random color. They are very good helpers for starters. So it's strange that you only have a Titan besides Tyrranos.
I just wanted to say that I've become extremely addicted to the game, and I haven't even been playing it for an entire week yet. So far, having Alraune as me leader has been quite beneficial. It makes it so all those orbs I can't use (such as Light orbs when I have no Light monsters) into something useful, allowing me to heal myself more frequently. I also managed to get lucky early on by getting Alraune, Beast Rider, and Vritra in the Rare Egg machine, and soon after evolving the Lil' Red Dragon I got from the Legendary Flame Dragon dungeon into a Volcano Dragon (I am curious as to if that dungeon will ever appear again). So far, my ten strongest monsters are Vritra, Machine Golem Mk.II, Volcano Dragon, Tyrannos, Plesios, Beserk, Beast Rider, Dragon Knight, Flower Chimera, and Alraune. I also don't know about special dungeons too much. Are the Tuesday dungeons with the keepers and the Saturday dungeons with the sprites available every Tuesday and Saturday? I also heard there's a dungeon ever Thursday where you can get Dragon Seeeds, Dragon Plants, Dragon Flowers, and Dragon Fruits. I'm hoping this is also true, cause I recently sold a King Emerald Dragon (because I had several) for 150,000 coins, and now that I have a Keeper of Flame, I'm just missing a Dragon Fruit to evolve Volcano Dragon.
