This looks pretty nifty, any idea how much it relies on multiplayer aspects? Such as having NPCs to battle/battle with instead of needing other users? I might grab it if it doesn't rely heavily on MP.
Sorry I think you may be posting in the wrong thread. But while you're here, I'd highly recommend trying Puzzle & Dragons It's FREE and awesome
No, it's this part of the game description in the OP that made me ask: A lot of games where you can play with friends involve mechanics that you need other people for. Battles, for example. Is this a game you can play solo, or are there times you need others to move forward in the game?
you gain friends with continued playing. those "friends" activate leader skills and do become pretty important if you need a specific team for a certain dungeon. that being said you can get a *solid* 3-4 hours of play with any build but eventually you do become dependent on others whom you have 'friended'. I would recommend playing for a bit to see if you like it - if you do - search posts for starting mobs and re-rolling. Without a decent starting god you hit the "paywall" fairly quickly. I really enjoy this game and would love to send some money gungho's way, but haven't and can't justify the gambling/luck involved with obtaining certain mobs - easily worth 60 dollars if there wasn't the friend mechanic and the mobs that can only be gotten by gambling real money.
In case the people here aren't keeping track on the Facebook - we are in the middle of a delightful event! Here's the schedule: *P&D 5.0 Update Extravaganza Event* Version 5.0 is finally here, and what better way to celebrate than with an AWESOME EVENT starting midnight March 14, 2013 and lasting until Friday the 22. March 16 Egyptian and Norse Godfest at the Rare Egg Machine (offering higher chances to obtain them) March 17 Special St. Patrick's Day Event featuring Dragon Guardian Dungeon and Emerald Dragons! March 14-22 - Daily Free Magic Stone - Double chance to Skill Up - Increased chance to receive RARE Evo Materials at the Pal Egg Machine - 2x drops/1.5x coins at the special daily Dungeons - 2x drops for KING Metal/Jewel Dragons
For those unaware - there is a Godfest going on right now, and it's the PERFECT chance to get yourself one of the new Egyptian gods!!!
Except I got none and only 3* eggs after $50 wasted! Starting to get put off from this game now after $200+ and hardly anything to show for it. Usually get repeated mobs over and over.
the game is a tremendous amount of fun, but if you use money to try to get monsters it really is just GAMBLING! there is a much higher chance of getting a low level monster then a GOD monster. even with increased odds there is NO reason to think you will definitely get a good pull from either of the machines. remember your statistics -> higher changes without knowing the true odds doesn't mean anything my rare pull today (from free stones) yielded a crappy 3 star mob too!
The Green Star Egg visits us all from time to time, but the game is solid fun and there are always more free Magic Stones on the horizon.
Wow, I WISH I had an Egyption God... My youngest son pulled Horus. My oldest son pulled Ra. My wife pulled Bastet. I got all evo materials and other lower rare monsters from all my pulls. Bought some more gems to try a few more times, got more junky pulls. I'm so jealous! if I could pick I'd hope for an Isis.
Isis is definitely the one I wanted the most too, but instead I got Annubis Looks like I need to get A LOT better at making combos. I once thought I was unlucky because I pulled 2 Venuses during different Godfests (hate getting doubles) and I didn't even think she was that good to begin with. Now I feel like I will need them both to even have a chance at getting Annubis's skill to activate Fun fact, I had Annubis as my leader in the Master Tricolor Weekend Dungeon and brought along a Bastet - I got lucky on the final battle and one shot them dealing over half a million damage!!!!!!!!!
That's quite the pantheon your family got there As for me, I have gotten no Egyptian gods, but I was happily surprised to get a Rainbow Keeper during a pull.
Finally ready to Evolve my double light Venus! What dual Attribute fusions do you all recommend? Do you like to mix opposing elements or complimentary ones?
To all the advanced players out there - do you run... - balanced 5 color teams? - mono color teams? - 2-4 special tricky strategy teams? Share your advice! Personally, I've had pretty awful luck with monochromatic teams - even when I run a 4 color team I seem to be surrounded by the color I don't have in my team. Orb Changers are helpful - true - but often lack the OOMPH that non-orb changers have.
